Is there perhaps some sort of mod limit?

I used to be able to play Civ 5 with mods just fine, but every game I try firing up now crashes immediately. I wonder if it might have something to do with the number of mods I'm running. Can running too many mods cause your game to crash?

It's much more likely one particular mod.
