Yet Not Another Earth Maps Pack - Setting Starting Location

I added SQL code to one of my custom Civ mods to have it use Japan's start location on a YNAGEMP Map, though it isn't showing up in the Civ list when loading the custom game for YNAGEMP. Since another mod I already had downloaded did the exact same thing, I copied the SQL code from that and made some modifications. However, that mod does show up in the Civ choices menu on the custom game. I checked the database log and the game isn't rejecting the Mod Compatibility SQL file for my mod. What else do I have to do to get the Civ to show up on the list of choices?
