This is my first post on the forum, which I can already tell from reading some threads I'm going to love.
Something that's been bugging me recently (amongst other things) is the possibility of starting a game locally via a hotseat setup, then later continuing online. For example, I have a mate I'm trying to get into the game and I think it's going to be easier for him for me to show him and teach him the basics face-to-face on a hotseat game. However, he has a Steam account so it would be great to be able to continue the game in a later session, online.
Is this possible? The only thing that I can think could hinder it is validating the players in the session since he wouldn't have been using his Steam account for the hotseat game on my laptop.
