Tech Tree Trouble

I'm pretty certain this is caused by a mod. Maybe not.

Has anyone here ever encountered a game where upon opening the Tech Tree, the left-right scroll bar was missing? All I see is the Ancient Era and the beginning of Classical. NOTHING I have tried can make the screen scroll to the right. Using arrows just moves the active unit that is under the Tech screen overlay. Cursor on the right side of the screen also does nothing.

Anyone recognize this problem? Any suggestions? Now that I'm just about done with the Medieval Era, I'm ready to try most anything to get UI functionality back.
 
What mods are you using, and have you verified that every mod has been updated post-patch?
 
Bleah. Currently I have about 80-85 active mods. The large majority obviously have nothing to do with UI functionality. Others that might would include
Beyond the future (more techs added)
Hmm. That's the _only_ mod that affects the UI. I'll try turning that off and see if that fixes the problem.

And I'm back. Nope, that wasn't what is causing the problem. I'll work up a spoiler report to list the 80+ mods later tonight when I've got a hal-hour or so to hunt-and-peck a lengthy list.

Hmm. Only 74. Thought it was more than that.

Note that despite the large number of active mods (72), I've had zero CTDs or freezes for the last @400 turns. Thus far the ONLY glitch I've encountered is this thing where the Tech Tree is missing the left-right scroller.
