Sorry about the delay. Big storm, no power. Hopefully it will be restored in a few hours. I'll get back to you then.
Thanks for the comments.

This is critical. Regarding builds: Still don't think scholarly pursuits business start ups are appropriate. Almost every city should be 2-pop whipped for a unit as soon as possible after it shucks off the unhappiness from the previous whipping. This will hurt economy, but see no alternative but to take AI cities quickly to gain gold, tech, and territory. Normally, it's optimal to wait until there is one overpopulation/unhappy citizen in the city before whipping 2-pop, but that would already be true in many case if we were at war with Egypt (and suffering war-weariness unhappiness), and we are going to re-declare well before the whip unhappiness will wears off, so go ahead and plan to whip 2 happy citizens.
I like this ideaOne approach to taking Opis would be to declare and move only a spear and an axe forward, then wait and see what comes out of the city towards them. We might be able to sacrifice those two units to create a killing field, utilizing our cats and crosses against all those maces.
Edit:
Finish this turn (finish hindu missionary), then next turn revolt to Paganism to save us some cash.
The spies should explore Egypt both east and west, try to find link to Hammy via Egypt?
The trebs currently going east should continue except the hindmost, eastern army gather in Thebes.
Workers near the forest by Kagoshima can chop it before we lose it. The forest SE of Tokyo has a road and only needs one turn of chopping, this should be done ASAP.
Some forest could be chopped near Memphis. Wait with chops until the forests are inside cultural borders, road towards Thebes and prechop
Builds:
Delhi: xbow, xbow, xbow. Change flood plain farm to specialist (sci or eng?) until we use the whip on one of those xbows? I would let Delhi work the Village from Varanasi, and maybe later the stone
Bombay: finish xbow (1 turn), then another xbow, which should be whipped OK, let Bombay work the cottage in stead of the corn, corn goes to Osaka
Vija: xbow (whip) then it doesn’t matter (back to research?) xbow->xbow
Patal: finish treb (3 turns) -> another treb
Varm: finish forge (2 turns) -> xbow (whip) I would work more mines and build the forge this turn, before we go out of OR
Osaka: continue on wealth for now – what about swapping the mines to farms, and growing it so a unit can be whipped? Osaka got a heavy owerflow that I would put into a barracks this turn, while in OR, and then units and work some cottages and the corn from Bombay.
Kyoto: treb, wait, whip for 2 pop -> wealth I would squeze in a Buddhist temple this turn while in OR (half prize, +1 , +2, +1), and let Kyoto work the mine from Osaka
Tokyo: whip missionary -> cat
Memphis: xbow, whip for 2, possibly another xbow depending on chops, wealth
Pi-Ram: finish forge (1 turn) -> Barracks
Thebes: 5 turns of riot to go
The general idea is wait the nine turns in the east then redeclare on Hatty, meanwhile, build and heal the eastern army, explore Egypt. In the west, we’re sending the xbows built in the heartland cities to join the stack on Hammy’s border and when ready we declare on him. This won’t be in the next four turns at least, possibly five. I could play those few turns and stop for more discussion before launch into a two front war with a screaming economy <grin>
Here's a plan.
Finish this turn (finish hindu missionary), then next turn revolt to Paganism to save us some cash. Concur, this should help us to get CoL. After that we're set economically
The spies should explore Egypt both east and west, try to find link to Hammy via Egypt? I don't think you'll find a link to hammy from egypt unless eliza is magically disappearing. Agree with a spy west (towards eliza) and one east though. There are keshiks roaming around so there might be a link to genghis (and maybe more)
The trebs currently going east should continue except the hindmost, eastern army gather in Thebes. Concur
Workers near the forest by Kagoshima can chop it before we lose it. Yes
Some forest could be chopped near Memphis. Agree

Kyoto: treb, wait, whip for 2 pop -> wealth We might need a lib there to get our tiles back at some point, maybe with overflow. Otherwise a whip-unit-regrow-wealth-cycle should help to reinforce the east
Tokyo: whip missionary -> cat
Memphis: xbow, whip for 2, possibly another xbow depending on chops, wealth
Pi-Ram: finish forge (1 turn) -> Barracks
Thebes: 5 turns of riot to go

Is there a way to minimize this possibility?I don't mind attacking Hammu, I'm just a little worried that they'll all dogpile on us when we declare on both Hammu and Hatty.
Agree with z3's suggestions.A few suggestions in red:

We can bulb Optics now if we wish, and I think we should do this. Increases power rating while also saving us 1 gpt.GPersons – I’ve read a suggestion to bulb optics with the GS. Don't think we can do this until we have Calendar, but certainly then.
Agree, with changes, think we are about ready to give it a try.Concur.
Concur. Green light here, MP.Is there a way to minimize this possibility? Build units?
Agree with z3's suggestions. Concur, they are excellent -- both worker actions and builds. Hadn't considered needed happiness benefit of temple in Kyoto, but like the idea. That city can be productive if happy. Not sure it shouldn't be Hindu temple. Suggest taking Kyoto citizen off the corn and onto mine until completed.
We can bulb Optics now if we wish, and I think we should do this. Increases power rating while also saving us 1 gpt. Sorry, of course we should (apparently this is another change from Vanilla). May want to whip caravel in Opis, if all goes well, and try to figure this map out.
Regrading our GProphet, Thebes requires 5 turns more before it comes out of resistance. We will need about 5 turns to prepare for war with Hammy. Suggest that after 5 turns, it may be a good time to launch a Golden Age? Let's see where we are in 5 turns and re-visit.
Agree, with changes, think we are about ready to give it a try.
Only a Buddhist (AP religion) temple will bring the extra 2Hadn't considered needed happiness benefit of temple in Kyoto, but like the idea. That city can be productive if happy. Not sure it shouldn't be Hindu temple.
Seems I messed MP up on that.Only a Buddhist (AP religion) temple will bring the extra 2
Seems I messed MP up on that.
Missionary will be needed in time and not clear when we'll switch back to OR.
