Oh, so it is a little surprise. I do like it so thank you. It's a little thing I was working since 1.40, but just finally finished up. I think you'll like it.
Oh, so it is a little surprise. I do like it so thank you.
yeah, the description seems promising. on another note, does the mega patch just disable a few random civs, or something more involved?
sounds interesting but am locked into an epic game, so please tell what formations is
Nah, it just disables 7 civilizations. I tried to pick the least important ones (However, I am sure that will end up offending someone, but they can just turn them back on.)
Archipalgo, Huge, Snail. 11 turns into the game and Sitting Bull wins Scientific victory. And its still ancient time.
Also, same game with city population being 1 my citizens are angry about that, because its large city.
I have done some german translations based on 1.60 Beta 1. I have finished the XMLs in the "Text"-folder and I thought I post them now, before Afforess can bring out a new AND version and I have to do it all over again (as has happened here ).
I have translated everything to German except:
- Pedia entries
- Strategy entries
- Quotes
Files now fully translated to German:
CIV4GameText_MultipleProduction
CIV4GameText_TAB
CIV4GameTextInfos_VicinityBonus
FB_CIV4GameText
JooyoAddon_Civ4GameTextInfos
Largest_City_Unhappinessfix_GameTexts
SpecialistEnhancements_CIV4GameText
Files partly translated to German:
Afforess_GameTexts
CIV4GameText_Mountains
Firestorm_GameTexts
Ideology_GameText_Civics
Meteorology_GameTexts
MILITARY_GameText_Civics
Sport_GameText
WorldsFair_GameText
I have also made translations for RoM 2.81 which are posted in the sub-forum there. If you want to play a game in German at once you might want to copy in those files as well. I have played a few turns into a german game of AND 1.60Beta and it works so far (thanks, Afforess!) but there are still a number of buildings and units without a name before the translation is finished.
I am currently working on the text-files in the modules-folder and will post thoses in the next few days.
Just installed AND 1.6beta on a clean install of RoM. After about 6 turns, in Franco wins a Scientific Victory?! It's a standard install, no Mastery or Cultural victory enabled, here's a screenshot
Ok I can recreate this consistantly, I'm playing Rome, Augustus Caesar on a Giant RoM_Smartmap with 11 Civs, as soon as I research Ritualism I lose to an opponent winning with a Scientific Victory.
System Log:{Required Files} {Military Civics} {Beautification Project} {Castle Improvements} {Civic Flavors} {Ice Breaker} {Ideology Civics} Meteorology {Mountains } {Realistic Diplomacy} {Seafaring } {Multiple Production Mod} {War Prizes} Zoology Firestorm {The World's Fair} Arctic {Sea Monsters} {Larger Cities} {Espionage Process} Forestation {Sea Tunnels} Terraforming {Lead From Behind} {Event Images} Education Sports {Hi-Res Cursors} {Fixed Borders} NIMBY {Civic Buildings & More Wonders} {Surround and Destroy} {No Storms} {Advanced Diplomacy} {Deep-Red Interface} {Early Buildings} ANM Fortifications {Historical Wonders} Formations {Mega Civ Patch} {Better RoM}
Ok, I stand corrected, not Ritualism, but as soon as I aquire a second Tech.
I decided to go the path of Custom Installation but I am curious what do Recommended Install include?
Plus, if I run into CTD with this beta (hopefully not!) can you upload SDK sources? I modded my installation so I will only be bug reporting only when I have debugged it myself first, saving you the trouble of figuring my changes out.
Yay! Downloading now!
Are the Domestic animal Mod and GeneralStaff's Tower Mod in this? I did not see them on this OP list.
