First deity win

Got my first win on deity last night. I played as the Inca and went 4 city tradition, also managed to get Petra in my second city after beelining currency. I ended up with a t291 science win, with both Napoleon and Wu Zetian one spaceship part away from a science win of their own.

So when/what civ did you guys use to get your first deity win? I'm wondering who I should play next.

I played Maya. Then Venice next. Inca is a fun play. Did you get a lot of hills?

My second city was surrounded by desert hills and mountains. With Petra and terrace farms, it became my best city by far.

wow! Sounds epic. My favorite are farmable, petra desert hills. If you have faith from desert or Kasbah, the tile is even more OP. Good for you getting petra on Deity. That's usually pretty hard.
