Arioch's Warlords Flavor Units Mod v1.0 - Download

I was a little bit disappointed that Firaxis didn't include some of the excellent unit graphics from the Warlords scenarios into the regular game (just as graphical replacements for plain, existing units for certain civilizations), so I made a very basic mod to do it. It is similar in goal to Rabbit, White's fine Ethnically Diverse Units (EDU) mod, but is a simpler, lighter "pure Warlords" mod that doesn't change any gameplay or include any non-Firaxis unit graphics, and includes a few Warlords units not currently in the EDU (such as the Mongol Javelin and Mounted Swordsman, the Chinese version of the Galley, the Eurasian Horseman, and the Greek Peltist). I also threw in the blue-coat Continental Regular from the Civ4 American Revolution scenario just for fun.

As you might expect, this mod requires the Warlords expansion.

Arioch's Warlords Flavor Units Mod v1.0
-----------------------------------

This modification replaces the graphics for some regular Civilization IV units with Ethnic-Specific versions from the Warlords Scenarios. They appear as additional Unique Units for the various civilizations, but the unique units have the same statistics and abilities as the "plain" version of the corresponding unit; only the appearance has changed. This mod does not change any play characteristics.

The WARLORDS expansion is required to use this mod!

INSTALLATION
-----------------------------------
1) Unzip the file into the \Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Warlords\Mods\ directory.
There should now be a \Mods\Flavor Units\ directory containing the mod files,
including readme.txt.
2) To load the mod manually: start Warlords and from the Main Menu select
Advanced -> Load a Mod -> Flavor Units.
3) To load the mod automatically: a) open the CivilizationIV.ini file in Notepad or
another text editor.
b) Change the "Mod = 0" line to read: "Mod = Mods\Flavor Units"
4) Play any regular non-scenario game as normal.

To unload the mod, from the Main Menu select Unload Mod.

This looks like a great addition!

Wow, I really like these additions. I just have one question though: I am in no way a modder of any sort, so is it possible to merge this with the mod i'm currently playing with?
