New to scenario creation

Hi I've been playing civilization II for about a year now and i just bought ToT. I have a couple quick questions. If i want to make scenarios for ToT can i use the map editor that comes with Civ II? I want to make a scenario for the fantasy setting is that possible? thanks

I don't have ToT, but a close friend of mine uses MGE Editor to create ToT maps.

Sure you can use it... I'd recommend downloading my hex-edited MGE map editor for ToT, though (http://www.civgaming.net/mercator/mapedit/Civ2map.zip). I edited it so you can create maps as large as 32,767 squares with it (instead of the standard 10,000 squares).

i tried using your map editor with ToT but it gives me an error. I'm not at home right now so i can't say waht error. I'll look wehn i get home.
