I noticed today that according to Steam, I no longer own Civ5. This is somewhat surprising to me - but it is isn't necessarily unfair. I was given access to Civ5 as one of the 'frankenstein' testers. Since my access remained long after the game had been released, I has assumed it was permanent. Apparently I was wrong.
It isn't really a big deal to me because I'm not a great Civ5 fan anyway, but I'm curious about what has happened. Have all testers lost their access due to the test period being over? Or perhaps this is just some kind of temporary glitch? Maybe I've been kicked out of the group because I wasn't active in test group? I no longer have access to the test forums either (I can still log in, but the forums aren't listed anymore).
I don't really care much if I've been kicked out of the group or whatever; but I'd like to know what has happened & why. -- So if there are any other frankenstein testers out there who know what's up, please let me know!
