Site Download System is Broken?

Hi,

For the past hour I've been dying of frustration on trying to upload a file. So first of all, the file size limit is way too small for my civilization. I can only compress down to 24mb. But that's okay because you have a link system right?
The links don't work. It says "Link to your file" and so I add the download link (in my case it's a Mega download) and then when I click on it to test it says "DNS Server Unavailable" and doesn't go to the link. However when I put the link into my browser, it goes straight to the Mega download.

Unless there's a way of getting around this then I can't upload my mod. Anyone able to help? Is this the website or me?

Here's the download page: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=25321

Here's the download link: https://mega.nz/#!29t3RLoR!zmf97Q0NS8xOjBqmpidDphRPyzfiBodqCxYmvEoXYQE

Just tried Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ysoufooa26txqe5/The Walking Dead - Negan of The Saviors (v 1).rar?dl=0

Thanks,

EDIT: I've added a link to my Steam Page for now, people can subscribe there if they have Steam. I guess the linking system doesn't support Cloud Sharing?

I'll take a look in the next couple of days. Might be a problem associated with last year's server migration.

Hopefully it is as simple as updating some links.

Did some quick tests, seems to be a problem how the database handles secure connections.
Basically the download db will automatically add http:// in front of everything which doesn't have it. Means also in front of https:// connections, which will lead to invalid links.
If you try to manually strip the additions, it will also lead to invalid links by stripping the : from the https .

That should not be *too* complicated to figure out in the underlying php, in case someone has access to it.

I don't see any of this resulting in the mentioned error message though o_O.

Ah yes, this worked! Thank you ;) I'd recommend mentioning that for those uploading their files in the future whenever you guys get the time.

As for the error, I shouldn't take much note of them in this kind of situation. It's just the browser's idea of saying "we have no clue what's going on here, but it's somewhat likely to be this:"

Glad to hear that the problem was solved.

@The_J: Thanks for your advice.

I'll refer this problem to Thunderfall. He's the only one who can fix it.
