Is there a good Lord Of The Rings or Star Wars mod for CIV 5 ?

I've Googled and also searched the forum for these but was only able to find discontinued projects...

I don't know about lord of the rings mod, but civilization beyond the earth is coming in about two months, which is like futuristic Scifi expansion for civ5. Check this forum for more news about civ:BE

I gotta admit that although CIV BE looks interesting and innovative for CIV itself, it's not my cup of tea. I'm less into the sci-fi stuff. I love CIV mostly for how it correlates with actual history(or a specific story if we're specifically talking about the mods in question)

You could search for mods in the civilization 5 mod section through steam.

there are middle earth maps and a mod i saw in testing for civs for middle earth.

The one by Khose Galkin seems to be very well done.
I wish it was a full mode and not just the scenario.

On the Steam Workshop, I've seen mods for The Old Republic, CIS and Galactic Empire. Not sure about LOTR though

this is the LOTR mod i am using http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=257882191
its pretty good so far. i also have some other stuff and some middle earth maps. stuff like gondolin and rivendell wonders, barad-dur wonder. i have also seen the dwarves of erebor mod on steam. search middle earth and all these should come up.
