Ubable to See Units or Cities in Screen

I had been running Civ Complete BTS with no mods on Vista Service Pack 2 for some time now with no problems.

Suddenly I discover on resuming saved game that I can not see any units or cities on the screen. I have rebooted computer, reset graphic options to default and Low and restarted new game, but all to no avail.

Does anyone out there have any clues?

One of the buttons in the lower right corner of the main screen toggles hiding units, cities, etc. You probably clicked it by accident. Mouseing over each one gives a tool tip as to what it is for. When you find the correct one, click it. This is most likely your problem.

Thank you! That was indeed the problem! The third button along.

I suspect my daughter got to my laptop as her Galaxy' battery went flat.

And foolish me had not realised that changes there survived
reloading and applied to new games.
