With Furiey as Vice President, I am all for impeachment. CT received her final warning for abuse of power many Demogames ago.

I think impeachment for such a minor thing is absurd, and I don't appreciate your attempt to make this get ugly again.

I find it a bit rediculous almost always to impeach a person in this game that wants to activly involve him/herself to act in a position ,so i voted no punishment.

I want to give a warning actually to people that easily would want a president impeached for minor violations of this article D. I know all to well how hard it is to implement every wish of the citizins in a turn ,it takes a lot of time to play a turn with very deatailed instructions and it's very easy to overlook a thing ,actually almost statisticly unavoidable to make errors over a large numbers of turns as a president.

Give her a warning. Her tresspasses weren't great enough to call for impeachment, but they're enough to not do anything.

I must stand with Cyc on the call for impeachment. 90 shields were wasted at the President's whim, with no regard for instructions or the people's will.

In defense of Cyc's position, I have witnessed this President cast off the direction of leaders several times in past DemoGames, only to escape with a slap on the wrist(if even that). Trust me, after awhile, it gets tiresome. Add to this the arrogance of our President by hardly defending herself and offering no apology to the good people of our nation for uniltaterally deciding to leave a hollowed out husk on our shore that could have been a Lighthouse, and I believe it is time we send a clear message that such behavior should be tolerated no more.

Or make that a Giant Spotlight, as I believe she called it. Her outspoken contempt for ideas she doesn't agree with(go ahead, read the chats) is insufferable, veiled in snide comments about publicly passed referendums. While that alone is no reason for impeachment, this time she has crosed the line by acting on that contempt.

With a suitable successor waiting in the wings, now would be the best time to get this game back on track. Vice-President Furiey has shown the true essence of leadership in the past, and would bring the concept of mutual respect back to our nation's highest office. Let's look at this as the Presidential election we didn't get to have.

Vote Impeachment!

On the contrary, I try to follow the will of the people the best I can.

I have noticed this as well. It looks like CT considers herself superior to the other DG citizens and likes to publically berate and challenge instructions derived from the WOTP.

CT, I don't appreciate your overly vocal discontent and disagreement about TC instructions that do not favor your tastes.

What makes you think I think I'm better than anyone else? I've never even said that.

Challenging minister's TC instructions and saying they should be fired for the decisions they made based on polls.

 When did I ever say that? You're putting words into my mouth!

Remember, you said the trade minister (either term 1 or 2) should be fired for posting certain trade instructions. Not to mention other things..

We should send a powerful message: make a mistake, and you're out. We should kick her out. While we're at it, lets replace all our officials with robots.

Why not have a recall election? I'm sure all her opposition could not only get enough signitures to get her out, but also get themselves on the ballot!

Well, in my opinion, it pasted all over our Chat Logs. You seem to slander everyone that comes up with an idea you don't agree with. Be it city locations, Wonder building, trades, whatever..

I don't believe I ever saw Furiey resort to this type of play style.

While I agree that CT is often too critical of the citizens for their decisions, and that she should have followed the instructions of Zarnia's deputy governor, this does not create a reason for impeachment. She did not unilaterally decide to stop Zojoji's prebuild. If she had gone against the poll, that would be a reason for impeachment. However, it appears she believed that the poll was against the prebuilds (and that Rik Meleet's vote was countable for the poll). I do think she deserves a warning to be more careful to follow the ministers' instructions exactly.

Warning! CT has wish to play and it was only candidate for this term. I don't know why more citizens didn't candidate if they don't like CT. Anyway, CT made a mistake (wasting almost 100 shields) and should be warned. I don't see reason for greater punishment yet.

I urge all citizens to keep in mind that we are voting here on the sentencing of the accused only about this case. We don't need to dig up the past, nor do we hold a popularity contest here. Stick to the facts, review the evidence, and finally vote what you think is appropriate to the 'crime' committed.

Calling for impeachment is absurd. 90 shields or not, it was not done in the attempt to dominate and opress officials or the people.
