E2C Hawkeye AWACS

Here is the carrier-based AWACS aircraft, the E2C Hawkeye. I didn't make a defense FLIC, since the E2C can't defend itself, but I thought a person could assign any fighter they chose to the AttackA in the INI file. I have this as an air unit with the 'Go To', Recon, Radar and Detect Invisible flags checked. Also, give it somewhat of a defensive value.

Damn, that blows up real nice. Hows it look in game? the fly around animation seems to end in a different place than the defualt anim.

Bungus, actually the animation where it orbits, is the default animation. The other two are death (obviously) and run.

Drivebymaster, good idea. I'll check into it.

WOW!! Fantastic...i love this unit...and the circling anim when its fortified is a great idea....ive just modded it into my game with the jet fighter attack. Ive given it an attack of seven and defence of 1 and a build cost of 340(its high but its meant to represent the fighters too)and the intercept (otherwise AI wont use it) and recon options and requires aluminium and oil (prerequisite of satalites coz its a pretty modern bird) to represent it as directing fighters to respond to an enemy attack. I reckon any nation with this in its arsenal is gonna be a hard one to knock out of an air war.(just like america is now).

BTW, are you using the Immobile setting for this Unit? ...or unchecking Immobile so it is able to leave the city?
