Here is a stone elemental requested by Drift. Enjoy :)

I realy love your units Aaglo, theres always that little bit of extra detail that normal people just wouldn't think of including. In this case it's the chunks of rock and pebbles he drops as he's attacking, it just makes him (or her) so much more alive! :)
 
Well! It looks like I have a replacement to the Stone Golem graphix I have. The ones I have is glithced on the default graphic. It appears to fortify itself repeatedly. This will be nice and actually looks more like stone than mine. Good work aaglo.

EDIT: You know this guy reminds me of "Thing" from the Fantastic Four.

Aaglo, maybe you could actually turn it into the thing. Just a pallette change, and then IT's CLOBBERIN' TIME! ;) you would be the first to make a superhero. :D

It is also a very good Stone elemental to. :p

Thank you so much, it's perfect. I love the way the you incorporated my request of having little pieces of rock fall of as it moves around and attacks.
 
As much as I love this unit, it raises the following question (to me at least) : Since when is stone an element? I'm not all that educated when it comes to fantasy (or any other subject), but I thought the four elements were fire, wind, water, and earth. Nevertheless I will find good use for this unit, as I do for all of your great fantasy units Aaglo!
 
I think that the word element (or elemental in this case) does not always have to mean the four basic elements of alchemy. Element just stands for the substance the creature is made of. :)
 
Also, stone is a part of earth, so if you want to get really technical, it is a variation of an Earth Elemental, except more stone than dirt so it is better named Stone Elemental. That sounds good to me.
 
Hey, I've got a question concerning the stone elemental. The question concerns also Warhammer fantasy :)

I happened to see a magazine, where there were pictures of some older warhammer units. There was also a stone elemental, which looked quite a bit like this one. So my question is: which race in warhammer had access to stone elementals?
Anyone ;) ?
 
Well.. there is the Neptune/Sea Gaint Aaglo made...
 
true...Aaglo's call though....I picture something like Spider Man's Hydroman villain, crossed with Terminator's T-1000, kind of like a man made of water or something. Water could possibly be used as a weapon if it were high enough in pressure. Personally I don't really care if he makes a Water Elemental or not, but I do think it would look cool.
