M11-39 Tank

This is the Italian M11-39 Tank. I don't know much about it, but Luddi VI requested it. I made most of it in Rhino3D, then completed the modelling and animation in 3DSMax.

"Design based upon Carro Armato 8 ton with improved suspension, riveted armor and gun in the superstructure. M 11/39 was expected to replace CV 33, which proved to be inadequate during the Spanish Civil War. Due to its thin armor it was easily destroyed during the African campaign. 70 were in service when Italy entered WW2. The order for 100 vehicles was completed in 1940."

Very nicely done :goodjob:really, I can't find anything that would allow the slightest criticism. Great modeling, nice animations, good colours, good spotting of detail work, perfect scaling - and super fast work!

Great death animation..... nothing like seeing a flaming tank commander try to get away....

I was wondering if anyone was going to notice the crispy critter in the Death animation. I thought I would add some dark humor to it.

It was a nice touch. I made a note to try it sometime myself. Not sure how easy it will be to do with the tools I use though.

You know there are better ways of saying that.
 
I agree that comment was rather crass. 1500+ posts, I'm sure you can find a nicer way to talk about the unit. You've certainly had enough practice.
In my opinion it was not so much a question of their equipment but their desire to fight which was lacking.
But neither of these change what a beautiful unit Vingrjoe made. Not every unit in the game should be of only the coolest of the class.
The Sherman sucked compared to the Panzers, should we only use German tanks in WW2 scenarios?
