Don't accept flips.

Berlin:
Build queue:
courthouse->worker->cathedral

Micromanagement:
turn 2: switch irrigated BG to 2NW forest
turn 3: citizens should work wheat, irrigated BG, 2 mined BGs, ENE hill
turn 5: new citizen should work horse
turn 10: new citizen should work SSW hill

If a specialist is needed, the DP can decide which citizen to use

Worker actions:
turn 2: natives move to SSW hill, slave irrigates 2NE grass
turn 3: natives mine
turn 9: natives road
turn 10: slave chops NE forest
turn 12: natives move to NE forest
turn 13: natives chop

If micromanagement does not work as planned or worker cannot work where allocated, the DP can alter as needed.

Build queue

Cathedral (11) -> Knight (5) (turns based on not needing specialists)

Worker Actions (turn numbers for guidance only)

turn 0: continue roading (3)
turn 3: go to plains NNW of the city and road then irrigate (8)
turn 11: go SW to plains N of the city road and irrigate (8)
turn 19: go to grassland NE of the mountain 3SW of the city and road to link Augean Stables to Styx

In case of war, if possible protect the Worker with units (preferable), but the DP may interrupt the Workers and get them to safety if it is necessary to do so. Please then continue the Worker Actions where interrupted when it is safe to do so.

City Tile Micromanagement

Move a labourer from a 2 food, 1 shield, 2 commerce tile to the irrigated river plains tile for extra commerce.

Maintain at 14spt after corruption for the Cathedral in 11, when it is possible to move the labourer of the mountain onto an irrigated plains without delaying the Cathedral (for some growth) please do so. The DP may move a citizen off a low-commerce hill rather the mountain for slower growth but higher commerce is the commerce is needed to maintain research or luxury.
Once the Cathedral is built put back to 14spt after corruption with 0 growth for Knights in 5
If a higher commerce river tile is roaded and irrigated, use that in preference to lower commerce irrigated plains/mined grass tiles.

Please use the lux slider if possible, but if needed the DP may use specialist to prevent disorder moving a citizen off a the mountain first, then if more than one is needed a 2 food plain or mined grassland. Do not let the city riot!

Rushes
None

Worker Joins
None planned, although one would be welcome if it became available just as long as the luxury spending could support it. If one is joined have it work an irrigated plains.

Note: Their is little time before the TC, so I won't be able to discuss my instructions, I will post them in my government thread and if comments are made quickly I will try to change the instructions.

Build queue:

If war is declared follow this queue:
After hoplite(2 turns)- 1. Hoplite(2 turns) 2. Knight 3. Knight 4. Longbow 5. Hoplite or Longbow, if France is moving units toward Civatonia hoplite, if we have the upper hand in the war Longbow

If no war is declared follow this queue: 1. Hoplite 2. Knight 3. University 4. Bank 5. Longbow

Micromanagement: Remove the citizen working on the hill making 1 food, 3 shields and 2 gold and move him to the mined bonus grassland SW of the directly southern square of Civatonia.

Workers

Augean Stables - 1
Styx - 6
Priapos - None
Olympus - None
Civantonia - 3
-- NOTE, please cancel the workers currently replanting a forest :crazyeye: and have them road the Horses for possible future trades. Immediately upon completion of that task, the workers are released to Civantonia.
Expatriate - 2 (including captured worker)

If any unit from a civ at war with us gets within 2 squares of an unescorted worker (3 if the unit is a fast one), the worker is de-allocated and must immediately move to a save location as determined by the DP.

Slider
The slider is to be set initially at 40% and the lowest practical luxury rate. That rate should ensure that all of our cities remain in good order without the use of entertainers.

We may go into negative gpt for this session, so long as we don't go more than -10 gpt. Please reduce the science rate to maintain a maximum loss of 10 gpt if that should happen.

As we approach learning a tech, decrease the tech slider so long as the time does change, to maximize our income. Please check this each turn once we have 2 turns to research a tech.

Budget Priorities - ensure these happen first, or that money is available for them

Please maintain a cushion of 400 gold, do not rush anything that would take our gold below that level unless it is culture or growth related.

All other requests for funds may be prioritized by the DP.

Game Stop conditions - please halt the chat should any of the following occur
-- Should barbarians threaten unescorted workers
-- Should any nation declare war upon us
-- Should we attempt to trade Theology prior to Rome/France completing (or cascading) from Sun Tzu's, halt the chat prior to that trade.

Thanks,
-- Ravensfire, President of Fanatikos

Turnchat has now started

We have secured Gems from Persia.

Turn 0 - 560 AD

On the first turn Persia demands Theology! We can't give in, the Wonder builds will be able to cascade to Sistine Chapel and we will lose it. We refuse the demand and Xerxes backs down.

a couple of turns later, Persia has Sun Tzu, Rome has Leonados, France has.... nothing :)

The cascades are broken so we sell Theology to Persia for 85gpt and 50 gold

Persia and later France start on the Sistine Chapel - we have an excellent lead.

Turn 5 - 610 AD

We trade Literature to England for 20 gold and contact with Babylon - they only have 2 cities!

Sistine build is proceeding well, only 12 turns to completion.

Turn 10 - 660 AD

We have an Embassy with England.

The Persians have been busy and researched Education, we're due to research it in 8 turns but they are sure to trade it soon and we'll get it as the last free tech from the Great Library. So should we change our research? should we stop research and save the gold? These questions need to be resolved, so back to the forum it is.

Chatlog

i've just tried for the tenth time to connect to the TC, but the screen keeps saying: Unable to connect to server? Any reasons why this is happening and how I can connect?

Nevermind, I had a blonde moment :crazyeye:.

CG - this thread is for the November 4th session.

A new thread has not been posted yet, the relevant people are aware of the matter.
