Here is a longbowman reskin for Wyz sub's NDN mod. The reskin for the longbowman was taken from a group of pictures on a mohawk website. The archer and warrior reskins are general native american. enjoy.

I darkened the archers quiver belt like in the pic by hells angel.

These files are only skins you will need to write appropriate entrees in the civ4unitinfos and civ4defines_unit files.

Sweet!
You did real good man!:goodjob: But the quiver belt looks weird, make it darker.
The archer will look awesome with feathers on his head...will have to wait for the SDK I guess:(

it looks like he has man boobs

if you wait I will fix them in a couple of days I prob wont till Sun but I will fix them. Also I am a flavor unit civer. I plan to make reskin a horseman, horsearcher, and spearman to be more identifyable as native units. I also have plans for a skirmisher reskin for the mayan alti-alti. You know you could just copy the archer.dds and rename it to 128

Yes, that's what I did. And I did use it in the updated FP mod I posted last night. It's just that the _128 versions have more colours so you can spot the difference between them and the non-128 versions.

Thanks again for this.

I wonder, since it seems possible to make weapons of units transparent, if the weapons can be partly recolored and parts be made transparent. For instance the native warrior here could have a shorter stick which an axelike head halfway were the stick starts to widen, while the upper part is made transparent. Would give a more native feel to that unit.

The Mohawk Archer looks a tad less convincing, but is still nice. Did you reskin the arrows as well?

I like your idea but currently dont know how to make things transparent. I thought about that earlyer but didnt know how to do it. The reason the mohawk longbowman looks the way he does is because of the way the longbowman skin is layed out. The chest area and the sheengee (butt) is a copy of the same thing.
