I was just wondering about what kind of animals, characters, avatars etc. everyone associates with fellow NESers. I'd like everyone to post what they can say for themselves, and others can add more as they come up with more or just provide with their personal views/impressions. Feel free to attach pictures of favoured animals, old avatars, quote famous lines and so on. This could be fun if it catches on!

NOTE: By your request, I have chosen a new kind of animal as my minions: THE OWL! They are super-cool, have evil beady eyes and can spot prey in the dark! And they fly! Whee! :)
 
Well this is the latest version of my Knights Cross of the Iron Cross avatars.

Altough i also have used avatars of the anime "Chobits", a very very cute girly avatar.
Ofcourse i only use that avatar prior to launch of a massive nuclear attack on a Das nes.
psychologic warfare? maybe.
 
With fellow NESers? Well, I certainly associate NK with his sea otter, and Panda with that Napoleon portrait he used to have. Harder to say about the others, though I associate BananaLee with a banana, strangely enough.
 
I associate Das with an totalitarian canadian regime, Capulet w/ some sort of seed or pod.
Silver steak with something more of 'Silver Streak'. Warman with a Zionist Banker that happens to be really old. Kamilian with a roster or some sort of bird. his avatar is weird.
 
I am a terrorist/balkan rebel/snake/socialist revolutionist/evil old dude.
 
And for some odd reason (well, actually, not so odd...), I associate Cleric with the Soviet flag, albeit he didn't seem to have it in his avatar.

Thanks about the maple leaf, I still do hope I'll get to use it again one day...
 
I usualy associate myself with gods... (nearly all my last nations in NESes had somthing to do to be led by a group of gods or people who said they are gods).. And as an avatar a black hole is great :) it's like a god :p

Seed or pod? :lol: Explain.

I associate das with the Maple Leaf, Stalin006 with evil (:p), and Insane_Panda with his old Napolean portrait.

I associate North King wth OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.) :lol:
 
lol, well i didnt knew what a capulet was, so my mind tought that it should sound like somethink like a seed or pod. 'The capulet pod... or seed'

i dunno, thats until i realised it was a family name in Romeo and Juliet.
 
my avitar is the best :P cause its cheap and i never ever ever change it unlike you guys who want to show off
 
I;ve had my avatar since I was Sumer in stJnes4...a long time ago indeed.

I did actually have for a short time a Hammer and Sickle avatar from the Civ3 government picture,along with the title Conscript I think.
 
your terrorist avatar was the best, especially when teamed with your location.
 
My impressions of the posters above is like this:

Thlayli: I associate with the three city center system. I know Totamille and Israelite also worked on it, but that's all I can think of with Thlayli. Aside from his annoyingly difficult nick, of course.

Stalin: Nuke.

Das: NES patron deity, sort of.

Panda: NES cartographer.

Cleric: Undead warmonger (:evil: inside)

Erez: [Yoda]Annoyance leads to anger. Anger leads to pain. And pain leads to suffering. And suffering leads to the daaaaark side![/Yoda]

Capulet: Shakespeare (or the play).

Kentharu: Hiding archer/sniper/ranger. I thought the staff or whatever it is looked like a bow before.

Warman: :old:

Emu: To-the-point. And the skull avvie.

Off the top of my head: I associate erez with silly randomness, Cleric with short-sightedness, das with nuking, Roddy with board games, Iggy with spam and penguins, Kentharu with social disabilities, and Silver with ideas froum outer space.

What do you readers associate me with? And does anyone else want to be listed?
 
I associate you with your so-called "thread necromancy"! You have the update on your HD, and it just pisses me off even more! :mad: Oh well.
 
Erez: NES mapmaker, confusing NES rules and Portugal.

Azale: I usually think he is trustworhy.

Finmaster: finnish guy who thinks I wear a bowler hat.

Jason: The best Mod.

Insane Panda: Vietnamese guy who likes France.

Capulet: I got nothing sorry.

Stalin006: warmonger.

Cleric: I get the impression he either wants to take Silver's place as genocidal guy, or he just wants a reputation of his own thats slightly different.

Thalyi: talks too much.

Warman17: Sumer and veteran Nes guy.

Das: he can annoy me quite easily

Kentharu: excitable.
