Submit Sports for inclusion in JWorldSports Mod

Alright people. I am make The sports mod and I need sports to put in it. The more sports I can get the better and there is no such thing as to many sports.

I have broken sports up into a few different catagories, Team Sports, One on One Sports, and Group Sports.

Here is the current list of each kind of sport:

Team Sports:
Dodgeball
Football
Baseball
Basketball
Soccer
Hockey
Cricket
Rugby
Handball
Polo
Waterpolo

One on One Sports:
Chess
Tennis
Pingpong
Boxing
Mixed Martial Arts

Group Sports:
Golf
Archery
Shotput
Curling
Loggersports
Bicycling
Swimming
Skiing
Frisbee Golf

Post any sport you can think of, just give me the name of the sport, which catagory it would go in, a brief description of what kind of game it is, and where in the world it is played. The more sports I can get, the better the mod will be. :)

Curling added to Group Sports. :D

Football is already on the list, was one of the first I put on there. This component doesn't deal with teams yet, just setting up the accual Athlete unit and what sports they play. But one of the next components will deal with teams for each sport and I will keep your flags for use in that. :)

As for Lumberjacking, I like this idea as it will be easy to tie with the forest/jungle features and their respective feature defesense/offense/movment on each athlete unit.

But is "Lumberjacking" the official name of the sport? I will try to do some research if I get some time, but if you could let me know that would help out loads. :)

EDIT: O'yea, almost forgot. Da Bears. :p
 
How about:

Rugby (Team Sport, played in US and Australia mainly)
Mixed Martial Arts (One on one, think UFC)
Boxing (One on one... you know what this is ;) )
Auto Racing (Group Sports... NASCAR, Auto Cross, Drag Racing, played all over the world)
Cricket (Team Sport, played in England, India, Pakistan, etc)

Sweet, yes on all those. They have been added in the proper catagories. :goodjob:

- Handball
- Waterpolo

One to one sports :
- Cycling (perhaps is it a team sport ?...)
- Swimming
- Horse jumping
- skying

And what about sports like biathlon, triathlon, decathlon that mix several sports ?...

Handball, Waterpolo, Polo, Bicycling, Swimming, and Skiing all added. I will be adding a sport that will encompass the jumping/racing/riding of horses, just trying to pick which name I like the best for it. :)

Extreme Dodgeball 2 on the gameshow network I think, the only sport I ever watched and got excited about. It is the best game ever. That will most definetly be added to the list DPII. :nuke: :cool: :nuke:

Here are some sample buttons, some of these are in the game some aren't. They are being used as promotion buttons since each Athlete unit has the promotion for the sport he is currently playing. These are just a few and I've got about 12 sports that will be in the initial beta realse in a few days/a week.

Anyway here is the link to the zip file of the button dds files. :)

Badmiton and Wrestling will be added to the list.

Some of the extreme sports will be covered under other headings and others will be considered. I have to redesign my catagories and after I do that all of those will be somewhere on the list. :)
 
Are you serious?! Noone even suggested fencing yet? :D hope its included
