Seriously, why do us Australians have such stupid slang and stereotypes. Where did it come from in a penal colony for the Brits? Did we develop the prisoner's slang in our stereotypes?
 
What do you think about your flag? Did you hire the same bureau to design it as the Kiwis did? ;)

Wich team is your favorite to beat in the Rugby World Cup, and if you have to lose to another team, wich hurts the least?

Overconfidence is probaly it, the people here are just plain arrogant when it comes to sports
 
Yes remember how upset we (as in The Sports People of Australia) were when we lost the Ashes to England. Because of this, we're said to win the next match. I hope we don't get too arrogant. But then again, I couldn't care less who wins that stupid tiny little urn full of ashes that probably isn't of the old stumps or whatever the heck the ashes are for

In New Zealand the *only* winter sport is rugby union. In Australia rugby union is basically only played in NSW, ACT (tiny area), and Queensland and even then only by people who go to private schools and university. Therefore the pool of potentials is quite small.

Wiki says... "Aussie flag chosen in 1901".

Looks like the Kiwi's copied us.

Not much of a Rugby. Currently watching us obliterate the Pom's in a 20/20 match atm.
