So, for some time I've been working on a certain mod that dates back to 2003... but more on that later. For that purpose I also reinstalled Poser hoping to fill in some gaps. I planned to try leaderheads only but those go terribly slow, while Kinboat's PDM is just awesome and makes unit-making so much easier and faster. Anyway, here are some previews, and my plea for some criticism before I proceed to rendering:

Jogaila, Grand Duke of Lithuania
based on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Wladyslaw_Jagiello.jpg

Alexander Nevsky, Prince of Novgorod
based on various googled pictures

Lorenzo de Medici of Florence
my attempt to make a portrait-like leaderhead, but I think it doesn't work very well as a leaderhead, and 2nd Era Civ3 Ceasar is kinda good enough... especially since it has the peculiar Italian cap which I don't have.

Erik the Victorious of Sweden
I'm not happy with this either, I wanted a medieval/renaissance king instead but I can't find any fitting apparel.

"Yet-another-spearman" but it took one morning to make and animate while following utahjazz's tutorial:

Yes, another spearman :D an advanced one with some armour:

Spearman animations. There will be at least two more sharing those (eastern variants)

w00t! more great leaderheads and units. :D
Lorenzo's nose is a tad undefined, but other then that, great stuff!

i can't wait to see what the mod is like! ;)

Whoa! Those are cool. Very high quality, I can surely use these. This looks to be an awesome mod!

Those units look very good quality, impressive. I also particularly like Nevsky's LH, I look forward to getting my hands on these.

YEs I love your wok tons of your units were going to be in my elder scrolls mod.

OMG! OMG! OMG! I think I'm gonna faint! this is awesome!
I'm sorry I never do this but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I had to get it out out of my system...
This is the best new years gift ever (I know its not for me, but still)
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

PS. are there gonna be more LH's and units? can U make Croatian and a Serbian one. PLEASE!!!! need them for my mod!!! :king:

Your Units and LH will definitely win on the monthly competitions whenever you post them. Believe me! ;)

OK! now the criticism...
Jogaila, Grand Duke of Lithuania - keep him
Alexander Nevsky, Prince of Novgorod - keep him
Lorenzo de Medici of Florence - don't like him (looks freaky  )
Erik the Victorious of Sweden - definitely keep him!!!
And post the damned units! pls :D

Alexander Nevsky, Prince of Novgorod
Erik the Victorious of Sweden

.. wow.. just.. wow..

I like your units too!

If you made the second one with a sword that would be a great Bretonnian Man-at-arms, and a version with the bill weapon or a simple halberd would be really appreciated ;)
To much armor for the sword/spearmen, I think. In the WH mod, not whatever it is that you are planning. That will probably be kickass.

Lorenzo`s eyes are a bit to big, IMO :)

I think all of these are great. Lorenzo definitely looks a bit bug-eyed, but if you tone that down a bit he will look magnificent. Great to see a LH that really looks a lot like the portrait. Jogaila looks a lot like his picture too. Really good work.

Your death animation is excellent. Those are so hard to do.

I think the Lorenzo de Medici and the Jogaila leaderheads are probably the best I've ever seen. The style of them fits in with CivIII amazingly well. I'm really impressed. I think de Medici is my favorite leaderhead ever—even if it's only a preview. He has a lot of personality, which is really nice. He looks like the shady, double-crossing sort . . . no idea if was so in real life though.

The spearman animations are nice too. Great job overall!
