Dramatic entertainer popheads

Involved, as I am, with all things ancient Greek, I decided that I needed some dramatists for civ 3.



From the left - Satyr, Comedy, Tragedy 1, and Tragedy 2. The eyes and mouths show as civcolour in game, in case you wondered.

The file. This is just the standard popheads file with the drama masks replacing the entertainers. It goes in Art/Smallheads/

Hope someone finds a use for them, if they're popular I might enter them for the pcx makers compo. I must admit that I;m happier with these than I have been with any of my tech icons. Any feedback/constructive criticism is welcome.

They're nice; something a little different from the norm, which is good .

Interesting. I could make one of them come with "Drama", and produce 2 luxuries, and maybe let someone like Athens get one of them earlier, with 1 luxury and 1 science (ancient plays were informative )

Virote - The comedy and satyr plays were developed after the tragedy, so the sad faces would be good to give to Athens as an early bonus. I think that the tragedies were usually more informative than the comedies, so having some science come with the tragedy masks would be a good way to go.

Looks freaky. You did a great job. It is nice to have the variety.

The fact that the tragedy faces were just mirror images of each other was annoying me, so I got another mask made up.



I also made some slight alterations to the Comedy mask, it was a little lighter than the others so I just darkened it a touch.

I think I'll enter them in the compo this month too. Just for laughs.
