We are playing as Qin shi huang (ind/pro/cho-ko-nu/pavillon). Our allies are: Mansa Musa (fin/spi/skirmisher/mint) and Wang Kon (fin/pro/hwacha/seown).

Enemies:

Team no.1) Ragnar (agg/fin/berserker/trading post) & Saladin (spi/pro/camel archer/madrassa)
Team no.2) Cyrus (cha/imp/immortal/apothecary) & Mehmed (org/exp/janissary/hammam)

Team no.1 and Team no.2 can trade with each other, while our trade routes are domestic. That's why our alliance counts 3 civs to recompensate commerce loss.

Only diplomatic victory is switched off, but I believe that domination is natural path here.

Wonders: since we are Industrious it's good to build some wonders. And caution: Wonder's effect apply also to our allies. All wonders.

I expect plenty unit gifting to strenghten our allies.

There is plenty other staff. It will be more clear at the moment you will play a couple of turns.

I do not expect anyone to succeed (myself as well), but I believe victory is possible. I lost previous game, but there were Praets. While we can manage with praets, AI's are in little trouble. Also none of allied civs had access to ivory. On this map everything was checked, except I was not playing. Basic objective is to survive as long as possible. Secondary objective is of course victory ;)

Since it's gonna be long game, nearest checkpoint is: 1200BC. Also submit 1 AD save. Till Saturday I will expect those two saves from everyone, who will decide.

Good luck ...

I'm giving this game a go and it is quite fun. I took feudalism from the oracle as the ai must have popped monarchy from a hut. I think our longbow men are helping with defence.

i'll try it i supose.

forgot to save in 1200 BC. Here is my 775 BC save which was the earliest i had in my current turnset :(. I'll update with 1AD later.

I gave it a shot. Wang Kon was stupid and got killed eventually by Ragnar. I was first on our team in points and I was first in land area overall. We got liberalism real late, around 1100-ish, and as far as I could tell we didn't get a free tech (it said that Mansa Musa was the first to discover liberalism). I think the other teams were behind in tech, because they couldn't tech trade. Mali was in a stale mate with Persia, and I had been gifting all my units to Wang Kon.

My Wang lost 3 cities, and I was helping to keep his capital with my Cho-ko-nu's. But we recaptured them. As I said survive as long as possible. ;)

With longbowmen realy early it seems like the AI will at last manage to survive until you manage to save the day or something. You can easily build pretty much any wonders you want. I think this game certanly is winnable.

@Oyzar: Yes, it is ;)

btw. Ragnar&Saladin were not backwards, they got rifles first, before we knew Printing Press. We had cavs&grens instead. It's pretty well balanced map. Only it's No-Tech-Trading map you have to pay attention to research.

here is AD save. Starting to get a bit harder now but Wang have still not lost any cities...

Um is this a bug or what? It seems that i still get war weariness even with allways war on...

ahh that explains the 20ish WW i had under police state in a recent multiplayer game where we killed almost a thousand cats..
