(CONFIRMED) No Scroll Quest Log

Hey everybody,

I received a quest during gameplay but did not finish reading what my objectives to accomplish the quest were. I then went to the quest log (that was included near the battle/chat logs) but the quest log does not scroll. Thus it is impossible to read the objectives for my quest. I have searched, but am unable to find another way to read the entire passage.

EDIT: to help explain the pic. After where the log cuts off, is supposed to be the guidlines I need to follow to finish the quest. One was to not switch state religion, but I don't remember the other two. Scroll bars should be included so that players can read their quests.

Can anyone tell me if there is another place to read quests, or if this is a bug that needs to be fixed. I just lost the quest in the picture because I couldn't read the guidelines for it, which are cut off and can not be scrolled to.

I think this might be a slight bug of some sort.

But you can try in the normal event log maybe?

I thought I remembered that entire dialog being re-sizable by clicking and dragging the corner...

If it is, there's at least a temporary workaround.

(Can't verify this at work. )

Where's the normal event log located?

No, quests don't come up in the normal event log. Only the messages about completed quests do.

For the moment, I think the resizing box thing should work, but this sounds like a bug to me.

I went to try to resize the quest log, but since I failed the quest (for some unknown reason), the log was empty.

I am still weary about resizing the quest log because it only resizes horizontally.

Can anyone with a current quest check their log? Thanks.

Bug Description
The scollbar for quests has a 'per quest' granularity, as opposed to a per line of text granularity (clicking it down one click scrolls one quest, not one line of text). This is problematic if the window is not high enough to show the full quest - it can only be made wider (a work-around), but not higher.

Steps to reproduce

1. Load the save from This post
2. Open message log, and confirm that holy mountain quest details can't be read without making box wider

Note: All the other tabs are also 'per event' scrolling, rather than 'per line'.
