What Asian and Middle Eastern civilizations do you desire the most in Civ 5?

There will be a final round, with the leading candidates from each poll, and a few wildcards.

Hittites ~ No, it's too minor in comparison to other nations within the region.
Israel ~ Yes, way too important to leave out due to the significance on history.
Babylon ~ Yes, they are probably out of the next three the most suitable candidates.
Sumeria ~ Maybe, they are important but this should only be there if the room is available.
Assyria ~ No, it's too redundant to go along with the former two candidates.
Egypt ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Phoenicians ~ Yes, they are too important to leave out. Their cultural impact is too great to negate.
Carthage ~ Yes, this has to be in there because they managed to crush Roman forces when the odds where against them.
Arabia ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Huns/Magyars ~ Maybe I think they could be in there but it wouldn't be the most critical nation to be in the game.
Berber/Maghreb ~ As much as I would like them to be in this, I don't think they could quite cut it unless if they were somehow put into a Moroccan, Islamic Spain Nation.
Persia/Iran ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Pakistan ~ Same as below.
Indus civilization ~ No, it's redundant IMHO.
India ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Thailand/Siam ~ Yes, even this I know should be in the game they have quite a bit of influence in world history.
Khmer/Cambodia ~ I don't know.
Malaya/Malaysia ~ I don't think they have enough influence. I could be wrong though.
Indonesia ~ Although it may not be the most important nation historically they still would defiantly make things more interesting.
Vietnam ~ Maybe, I am not sure about this one. I am inclined to say no but I still am open.
Mongolia ~ Too important in history to leave out.
China ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Korea ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Japan ~ Yes, there is no need to explain why.
Other, please specify

I think that the Indus Valley civ could be part of India. the only major thing they had that other Civs didn't was indoor plumbing.

Hittites
Yes.

Israel
Maybe, but its low priority.

Babylon
Yes.

Sumer
Yes.

Assyria
Yes.

Egypt
Yes.

Phoenicians
Yes.

Carthage
Yes.

Arabia
Yes.

Huns/Magyars
No. Hungary could be added as a European civ.

Berber/Maghreb
Yes, perhaps more than one Berber civ.

Persia/Iran
Yes.

Pakistan
No, and I'm Punjabi.

The rest I'll do later, urgently need to leave the PC.

EDIT:

Indus civilization
No, no potential UUs, UBs or leaders unfortunately.

India
Possibly, but low priority (here I mean the Republic of India, for other Indian subcontinental civs see "Other").

Thailand/Siam
Yes.

Khmer/Cambodia
Yes.

Malays
Yes, or perhaps the Sri Vijaya and Malacca states should be split into different civs.

Indonesia
No, it should be the Javanese (or Majapahit and Sailendra) and Malays (or Malacca and Srivijaya) instead.

Vietnam
Yes.

Mongolia
Yes. This time the Ilkhanids and Golden Horde should be included.

China
Yes.

Korea
Yes
Japan
Yes

Other, please specify

Middle East
High priority: Akkad, Seljuks, Parthia, Media, Hatti/Hittites
Low priority: Lydia, Mittani/Hurrians, Phrygia, Himyar, Arab Christian states, Israelites, Elam, Seleucids (should be included as Macedonia)
I'm definitely forgetting some, I might add them later.

East Asia
High priority: Manchus
Low priority: Silla, Goguryeo

SE Asia
High priority: None that I haven't mentioned
Low priority: Champa, Burma, Pyu, Mon

Central Asia
High priority: Tibet, Khwarezm, East Turkestan/Uyghurs, Timurids, Afghans/Durranis, Kushans
Low priority: Ghaznavids, Scythians, Indo-Greeks (see Seleucids), Greco-Bactrians (see Seleucids)

North Africa
High priority: Axum, Ayyubids, Fatimids, Mamluks
Low priority: Ptolemies (should be included as Macedonia)

India
High priority: Magadha (or the Guptas, Nandas, Mauryas and Sungas), Vijayanagara, Tamilakam (or Chola, Chera, Pandya), Kannadas (or Chalukyas, Rashtakrutas, etc.), Telugus (or some Telugu states), Vijayanagara (they where either Kannada or Telugu), Deccan sultanates, Delhi sultunate, Mughals, Marathas, Bengalis (or Palas, etc.)
Low priority: Sikhs, Sinhalese

HITTITES AND CARTHAGE HAD WAY MORE EFFECTS ON HISTORY THAN ISRAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carthage nearly destroyed Rome. The hittites nearly destroyed Egypt and lasted for 500 years. How much did Ancient Israel last for? Seriously, Judaism is important, but Israel was never a great civ.

In other, I think there should be a Turk civ rather than just the Ottomans, so that the central Asian Turk empires can be included. I also think there should be a Siberian civ if there are native Americans. The Native Americans ruled the wild west, the Yakuts and Sammoyeds ruled the wild east.

i think vietnam is important. 1. the vietnam war was the first conflict us lost. 2. the trung sisters. look them up.

From Middle East and North of Africa:

I choose:
Egypt - one of the ancient VIC (Very Important Civ) and of course :egypt:
Babylon - Hammurabi rocks!!! and a VIC.
Sumer - Gilgamesh also rocks!!!
Carthage - Someone need to battle the Romans. :D
Arabia - Of course!!!
Morocco - It's a Mediterranean civ, that I would love to see in Civ!
Israel - of King David or of King Solomon

To consider:
Hittites
Assyria
Phoenicians

From Asia:

Persia - Alex needs Persia!!!
India - Gandhi!!!
Japan - hai I  Japan
Mongolia - A civ without Genghis Khan it's a Civ at all.
China - of Course!!!
Korea - Starting to enjoy them...
Khmer - It was quite fun to play with them in civ4
Thailand - Absolutely!

In consider:
Tibet

Shouldn't each Turkic state get their own civ? I think the Khazars, Ottomans, Seljuks, Uyghurs, Timurids and Khwarezmids all deserve their own civs.

The game is called 'Civilization', not 'Nation-State', so I don't think all the Turkic states should get their own civ. Maybe Seljuks and Ottomans should be grouped together, and the Mongolian/Central Asian Turks grouped under another civ.

You know what civ I would put in? Elam. They existed for over 2000 years, for example, and were a major power sometimes. I think they should be in, over Sumer definetly.

If its name has so much bearing - then why are England, America, Germany, Mongolia, Korea, etc. in? Why not:

Sinic civilization
Short description: Greater China
Adjective: Sinic
Instead of: China, Korea, Japan

European civilization
Short description: Europe
Adjective: European
Instead of: America, England, France, Germany, Greece, Rome, Russia, Spain, Vikings, Celts, Byzantium, Holy Rome, Netherlands, Portugal

Indochinese civilization
Short description: Indochina
Adjective: Indochinese
Instead of: Khmer

Indian civilization
Oh wait this one is actually in...

etc.

Even there I had trouble defining "civilization". Are Hellenistic and Christian European civilization seperate? What about the Vedic and Indo-Islamic cultures? Ultimately, its less fun than having different states and is far harder to define (although some civs in the game are cultures rather than states - Sumer, Greece and Maya).

I love how American Propaganda has gotten into the minds of all the civers that think Israel was impotant in History. Sure there religion was important in history, but why add a civ because of there religion?

Ahh old enemy we meet again...

Sumer Greece and Maya were city states, so they should be in.

I agree, that there needs to be atleast 2 different indian kingdoms, in your opinion, which two indian civilizations were the most important not only in indian history but in world history? You know more then me, and i'd like to learn.

Carthage Was Only A Colony That Got Independence. WAS THE US ONLY A COLONY!!!!!!!!???????????????????

And I declare Austinites the chosen people, thus the Austin civ must be featured. Seriously, let's not make this a religious argument.
