Well this was the winner from my poll.

This unit comes with, Attack, Default, Run, Death and Fidget anims.

No sounds, or pedia. If any one wants to create these then go ahead.

Good job on the Tarkan :goodjob:. Whats next? The Scorpian, The Trebuchet (You know that thing with the counter-weght ;) ), or the remake of the Bombard (The one posted somewhere in the forums has traces of tranparancy :( ) ?

Hey great looking unit... What is a Tarkan? Where do you place it in the game? Any historical info? And whats that he's whipping about 'is head? ;) Really cool looking unit though, I will be adding it to my DYP-Senario mod tonight + i'll let ya know the results later. :goodjob:

Infact Tarkan is a character of a very popular comic book in Turkey. He is a Hun soldier and he fight mainly Byzantines. then in the 70s they made films of Tarkan which was very popular too.
But I do not know the historical background of the person if there is any.(Remember there were Janissaries firing hand cannons in AOE. There is no such thing.I there were any we would have taken Vienna:) It was taken from a film in Turkey):rolleyes:

A trebuchet has already been done. Its somewhere on these boards. I should know because I downloaded it and placed it between catapaults and cannons. :)

Hmm... That post was dated before the releace of the Trebuchet ;).
 
Sorry to bring a dead post back alive, but . . .


I was adding this to the MTG Mod when I noticed that it doesnt have a default.flc. The INI refers to one, but one is not included.

So I made one. Havent tested in game (tested in Flicster though, looked good w/ civ colors and shadows in tact).

Um, that was kinda the point. There are many other of the same nature. JimmyH made a tool that took the animatioms from AoE and converted them to civ3.

He wrote a program to convert AoE/K units for use by us in our Civ3 mods. We'll give props to whom we wish, when we wish. Maybe someday we'll even give you props for your contributions. But until then, thanks for your input...:rolleyes:
