My favorite chair broke :(
This one is damn uncomfortable! I have three slipped discs and my spine is slightly out of alignment so having a comfy chair is very important to me. Also, take into account that I've been spending about 50% or more of my day in front of the computer (yeah my summer didn't go quite as planned :D ) and you will realize the importance of a good chair.

So, tell me about your chairs... (yes I am quite bored this evening)

Pointless poll # 51326!

Note: I'm obsessive-compulsive. I am obsessive about my compulsion to vote in all pointless polls.

My current chair is alright, but nothing fantastic.

you are probably trying to help me, but i already got my 300th post, so there is no need to spam now. :D but still, cheers

it has been a lot of hard work, but it's definitely rewarding. on this occasion i'd like to thank my profs for not giving me much homework in the first wk, my parents, and so on....

oh, actually, i'm sitting on my bed now. :D

My computer chair is rather old. The padding is worn down, and the wooden armrests can give slivers if an eye is not kept on them. It's not as bad as it sounds, but if I were to be captured by the Spanish Inquisition, this is not the Comfy Chair they would subject me to. ;)

I hate this f***ing chair!!!!!
My problem is: The chair is so low or the desk is so tall:confused: (the correct word is tall or height?).:confused::confused:
My back, my shoulders and my arms are contractured:cry: . And the mouse is always doin what he (it must be alive:mad: ) want.

I think I have to change my chair or my desk... :enlighten

EDIT: typo

Meh this chair's ok, but there are better chairs in this room - i'm just too lazy to get up and swap :p

Yes that word is fine, but i would have said 'high' ;)

A really comfortable chair promotes sloth and slumber. Once lazy inactivity has hold one, the vices of Apathy, Gluttony, flagrant SELF-ABUSE, Trolling, and even the demons of drink and tobacco will have their way with poor victims of COMFORTABLE CHAIRS. Do not be taken in by false promises of postural ease or so-called ERGONOMICS, these Pretenders wish only to smother you between their padded arms. SMASH THEM NOW! GUARD YOUR HOME & FAMILY FROM LAZYBOY.

Is this man truely happy?

I also have a hellish back. Got one of these weird looking chair/stool things you kneel in. Really comfortable (except twice when my genitals went numb after marathon Civ sessions) with the bonus that the longer I spend in it the better my back gets (and the less self abuse I indulge in due to above parenthesis).

I have a decent chair. They don't exactly deck out dorms with fantastic furniture. However, it is miles above the old chairs I've had to use the last few times I was here.

At home, I had the most comfortable chair, I could have slept in it... it was a computer chair too. But I couldn't fit it into my car for the haul. I'm still contemplating the purchase of a very comfy chair, but right now, getting uncomfortable is the only thing that gets me up. I'm afraid I'd never move then :D

At home I have a nice chair which is a necessity because of the long civ-sessions. ;) At work where I spend long times behind the computer too the chair is just awfull....no armrests, no comfort.

my chair is a bit low, but i love it. i've solved the problem with the distance between the chair and the desk by putting the mouse pad on another chair.:goodjob:
