This Mini-Mod adds 34 Unique National Wonders (UNW) to the game, in the same vein as the Unique Buildings. Each UNW will replace an National Wonder, and have a small "bonus" over the existing wonder. For example Ethiopia's Church of St. George UNW replaces the Hermitage. In addition to the bonus's the Hermitage has, the Church of St. George will Spread The State Religion of Ethiopia to friendly cities.
This is nothing new, I have seen numerous threads about this, with ideas and suggestions. I played around with when Warlords came out before my sebatical from Civ. I just decided to assemble something that could become a "standard" minor add-on to the game for those that wish to use this that doesn't drastically change the core game while adding some flavor.

I have tried/will try to create some balance and sense in the Mod. Some NW won't be replaced, this was done to create a situation where NW are replaced three times each. At the moment 12 NW are replaced. (Some them 3 times, some 2 times). In addition, I have tried to avoid the concept that WoL is using for their UNW, in case anyone wants to use both at the same time, the mods can suppliment each other. In addition, I also tried to chronologically place the UNW, so the building could be build at roughly the correct time. One exception to this is with replacing the Moai Statues. Finding wonders to replace them was diffictult, that and they arrive very early, so I had to deal with it.

Contents
Buildings
Secret Service: This is the same as what Scotland Yard was, only the bonus is reduced to +50%:espionage:. This was done to accomidate the Secret Police HQ (see below)
National Wonders
Renamed National Wonder:
National Monument: renamed Mt. Rushmore, new art with same effects. Mt Rushmore itself will be he UNW for America.
"New" National Wonders
Secret Police HQ: +100%:espionage:, can assign 3 spy specialists (this is the same idea as Wall Street, Oxford U, and the Hermitage.
Parliament: Adds +25%:gold: , +25%:science:, +25%:culture:, +25%:espionage: , at the cost of +25% Maintenance.
New World Mission: Spread's State Religion, I want to limit this to continents not the same as your palace. will need python eventually to do this (I think). Not 100% Sure if the State Religion Spread code works, very hard to "test" since the effect happens naturally anyway. It should work, it was just copied from Tsentom's Crusade Wonder.

Concepts taken from RFC.
Triumphal Arch: +50% GG Points, +1 :), This is a minor verson of Asiox3's Brandenburg Gate Wonder which adds +100% GGP, so it fits the theme.
Olympic Park: Start a Golden Age. Would eventually like to link this to a vote in the UN (i.e vote to host olympics).

Center for Disease Control: Modular version of the Next War's National Wonder. I included it, incase anyone wants to use it. Current benefits are +2:health:, +1:), Health Units 25% Faster.

Unique National Wonders
The meat of the project. I tried to pick a wonder that was more "National Wonder-ish", and hasn't been used extensivly as a "World Wonder". The best example I can give is the Sphinx. Tsentom & Gir have used the Sphinx as a World Wonder, I use the Sphinx as a world wonder in my mod, when I actually sit and play (although with a different effect than when Tsentom and Gir have supplied). In addition, to me The Sphinx is "grand", then say Temple of Karnak. This is why I went with Temple of Karnak(that and I had art for it).

Each UNW has a unique effect attached to it, in addition to the effect of the building it replaces.
Spoiler :

America: Mt. Rushmore (National Monument) - +25% :gp: to All Cities
Arabia: Burj al-Arab (Moai Statues) +1 :traderoute:, +100% :traderoute: from International Trade Routes

England: Scotland Yard (Secret Police HQ) - -25% War :anger:

Spain: La Liga de Futbol (Globe Theatre) - +2 :) from each Colosseum
Sumeria: Epic of Gilgamesh (National Epic) - +1 Happiness to all cities
Zulu: Isandlwana Memorial(Triumphal Arch) - * I would like the effect to be a free "Last Stand" Promotion, when the unit is in the city (when they leave, the promotion is removed. I have the python code working to give the promotion, having trouble with the removal.
right now its set to a free Drill I promotion, for units built in the city, till I can get the code working.

In addition, I was going to assemble some UNW for the "popular" add-on civs, that fit into the Matrix of 3-4 times per. At the moment:
For Wolfshanze:
Austria: will be a building to replace the globe theatre
Poland: Saxon Palace (Forbidden Palace or Secret Police HQ) - +50% Espionage Points, +25% Espionage Defence *If for Secret Police HQ, I am going to adjust the effect a little.
Vietnam:
Other Civs:
Hungary: Orszaghaz (Hungarian Parliament) (Parliament) - Tweeked Cool2a3's Hungarian mod right now -50% Maintenance (since the Parliament has +25%, the net is -25%)
Israel: Shin Bet (Secret Police HQ) -
Polynesia: Moai Statues (Moai States)* when I get to them, the Moai Statues will be renamed and replaced with another nautical wonder, maybe "Wind Farm" and pushed back a few Techs, leaving the Moai Statues where they are as an "earlier version".
Venice: Piazza San Marco (Moai Statues) - Will be taken from Ekmek's Venetian Republic mod, tweek in effects.

Civopedia
I also added two new pages in the Civopedia, 1 for the National Wonders, since I did not was the Wonders Page to be enormous, the second is for "Heroes". By default it will be blank, but if people use my other mod, the necessary pages have been merged.

There is a side effect for the Pedia, When the Top button is hit

Merging
Modules
Each individual building is a module. They can easily be added to existing mods.
XML
The CivilizationInfos.xml will be changed to add the UNW to each appropriate civ. I plan on doing this "Modular-ly". They can easily be merged with existing mods.
Python
All Python files have been giving brackets where changes were made. I suggest using winmerge to merge these files if you have to. Where I was able to, I used the CustomEventManager system, this should make for easy merging.

To Do/Help
I could always use the help with ideas for each UNW. Also, if someone has another idea for a more appropriate UNW, lets discuss it. Art help is always appreciated. Some of the wonders do not have any art at the moment. I am going to color code the list above to show what has been done for each.

Credits
If I forgot your name, please PM me and I will rectify that. Most of this art, I have had for some time, and cannot remember where I picked it up.
Artists: FireAxis, HRochland, Walter Hawkwood, Ermelinho, Asioasioasio, Prestigater, Duel, Deon, TR Team, Refar
Python Help: Tsentom, Gir
Other: Cool23 (Hungarian Parliament), Ekmek (Piazza San Marco)

If you read that narrative, you may notice there are three Civ's currently without Wonders. This is due to my mind/google searches drawing blanks with ideas that fit into the matrix. They are:

Carthage (potential was War Harbor, but that is technically its Unique Building)
Celts
Zulu (although I was planning on going with the Serengeti)

I mainly posted this for people that wanted to try it out, and perhaps give feedback for balancing/bug correction purposes, in addition to discussing the three civs above and any non-standard civs that can be included that will fit into the matrix.

So feel free to make comments, voice concerns, make suggestions or ask questions.

Great work again! We were originally going to do something like this for WoL, but I guess now its technically out of the picture; great to see that you have done this anyhow!

Perhaps if you changed Stonehenge into something else (with the same effects of course) the Celtic UNW could be Stonehenge.

I'm not sure this is actually Zulu, but I remember in Civ2 the Zulu capital was Zimbabwe. So maybe THIS could be their UNW. Not really sure what it would replace or anything, just an idea.

What if Stonehenge got "changed" to some other Pagan/Idol worshop type wonder. I know I have some art for the Ziggurat of Marduk, which would fot the timeframe of construction?

I thought about Great Zimbabwe as well, as was mentioned, there is no art at the moment.

Just for the sake of discussion as well, I had alternate wonders for France and Arabia.

France: The Louvre replacing the Hermitage, giving some monstrous culture bonus

Arabia: Slave Trade replacing Wall Street, --> Allows construction of Mamluks, gives Mamluk & other Arabian Mounted units ability to "capture" defeated units as Slaves (10%) or Mamluks (10%), I ultimitly decided against this because a) thought it might offend, and b) it would appear in the late renaissance era, at which point mounted units are on their way out.

Also not sure if I mentioned this but: Germany's Neuswanstein Castle does not have any bonus at the moment. I had the art, so I made the module, I just could not think of an appropriate bonus. Its actually interesting because I have art for Germany for just about every national wonder.

In the download there is a excel file with notes in it, with all the bonuses, and "other" ideas I had.

No offense but I don't understand the reason for this modcomp. This modcomp adds another group of unique buildings to each civ basically while removing their access to national wonders, know what I mean?

For example the Inca gain an additional unique building they can build, Machu Pichu, but lose the ability to build the hermitage.

Smeagol

Just to follow up, the best way I can describe it is:
Machu Picchu is the Hermitage for the Incas
Akshardham is the Hermitage for the Indians

The both have the effect of the Hermitage plus some Extras, that I tried to make building/civ specific.

Hermitage gives the city +100% :culture:
-Buildable by everyone except Ethiopia, India and the Inca

Machu Picchu gives the city +100% :culture:, and gives the empire +1 :food:, +2 :hammers: and +1 :commerce: on mountains (making them workable).

Akshardham gives the city +100% :culture:, and +4000 :culture: when it is built (same effect as a Great Artist Bomb), and a free Artist specialist.

St. George's Church gives the city +100% :culture:, and spreads the state :religion: to friendly cities, +2 :) with state :religion:

Thats really the best way I can describe it. Same type of thing as the Unique Buildings and Unique Units. Rome still can build the Market, its just called the Forum, and has +25% :gp:

Bah, I was in the middle of developing the exact same mod. Grats on the good work.

I updated this mod:

Included in the update:

Additions:
2 New National Wonders: Both "borrowed" from RFC
Triumphal Arch: +50% Great General Points, this also fits into Asiox3's Brandenburg Gate Wonder, if anyone is using that.
Olympic Park: Start a Golden Age

2 New UNW
Carthage UNW: War Harbor (Moai Statues): +50% :hammers: to Naval production
-This is using the Cothon art, I replaced the Cothon art with the Pheonician Harbor art I had. Eventually I would like to replace it with appropriate art.

Zulu UNW: Isandlwana Memorial (Triumphal Arch): Free Drill I Promo*
-I am working on some python code to give defenders a promotion (called "Last Stand", which will be similar to City Garrison I), when the unit is "IN" the city., the unit will loose the promotion when it leaves. At the moment, the code gives the unit the promotion, however it retains it when it leaves. So I put a filler for now. Also I dont have any art for it, and I dont really like it at the moment. Its really just filler right now so if anyone wants to playtest it. I might be trying to do too much with it. My other option for the Zulu was Kruger National Park, since it technically is in the Zulu lands, it just didn't feel right.

Changes:
Ethiopia & Mali's UNW, now replace the Mission.
-Both didn't feel right where they were, since they are religious based, and there is now a religious National Wonder. I moved them.
Byzantium's Walls now replace the Triumphal arch
-I never liked them replacing the Heroic Epic, the "Walls" aspect also fits into the whole brandenburg gate/great general concept.

France has a new wonder, The Louvre, which replaces the Hermitage, since Ethiopia no longer replaces it. I thought it was more appropriate for the French, It was also done because the Moai Statues were gathering alot of replacements (Arabia, Portugal, Carthage, in addition to Venice and Polynesia when I get around to updating them). I left the art/code for Mont Saint Michel, it just isnt activated (i.e. no-one can build it) in case anyone wants to use it.

Lastly, I broke down the Default Civilizations into 1 per civ, I thought it was easier for merging purposes.

Regarding the celts.

The Capo suggested Stonehenge, which I think is a good idea, I am trying to avoid it, unless there are no other options. That and I could not think of an appropriate NW to replace or an effect.

Now that I switched the Theodosian Walls to replace the Triumphal Arch, that leaves an opening for a Heroic Replacement for the Celts, The first one that came to mind was Ivanhoe. I would like something more Classical-age, Then comes the tast of developing art/an effect.

I do like your ideas. I never heard of them before. They remind me of the nasgal (sp?) lines in south america.

Just wanted to ask an opinion.

I think the "last" new National Wonder, I will add is something along the lines of a National Cemetary/Emperor's Tomb of some kind.

Not sure of an effect. 1 Idea I had was to completely eliminate War  from the city it is built in, but I felt it overlapped too much with the Globe Theater, and National Monument.

So if anyone has an idea. that would be great.

I have an idea:
Aside from a bit of culture, and a bit of income and a happiness bonus (these seem all straightforward)
-> Let the National Cemetery reduce/eliminate the Anarchy time associated with switching TO the following civics:
- Hereditary Rule
- Theocracy
- Nationhood
- Police State

So it would be easier to switch to these civics.

Whaddayathink?

Dont know if it would work.

with the spiritual trait, it would become redundant. (unless it was given +2 happiness or some other benefit for spiritual leaders).

That and I dont know if the decrease in anarchy can be civic specific. If it can, I have no idea how to set that up.

Really the only reason I thought about it was to be a target for some Civ's National Wonders. That way in these Mods that add a large number of new civs' each wonder is only replaced 4 times or so, instead of 6-7
