Post your bizarre coincidences here for all to hear and enjoy!

I'll start off...

1. In 8th grade, my class was assigned to write papers on the genocides of history. I was given the Bosnian genocide, my friend was given the Armenian, etc. At the end of my paper, I wrote that I hoped Slobodan Milosevic got what he deserved. The next day, he died from natural causes.

2. On my birthday, December 24, of 2008, my sister annoyed me to no end, and I wished for her death at one point earlier in the day. Out of anger, you know.

..My friend's sister passed away the next day. She had cancer, but it was still a "meep" moment for me.

3. One night, I became extremely angered and annoyed with one of my friends, and wished they'd just leave me alone for a bit. The next day, they were electrocuted very badly in their science class when some moron spilled a fluid on something they were working, and I forget what, but something kept the electricity from causing any really bad damage. It did make them black out for a short bit, however.

About 3 years ago I worked for a tunnel building company in Caloundra, Queensland. The chief engineer running the tunneling machine was an Indian guy by the name Koshi. He was a nice guy, and I lived with him and another colleague while I was there. Last summer, when I arrived into San Francisco airport I met Koshi in the arrival area. He was running another machine in the Bay Area.

I am not bs'ing.

I was down in Galway once and I seen a bloke from work

Hmm. This actually isn't unbelieveable. My grandmother and I were at Disneyland one time, and she came across a woman who works at her library(my grandmother lives in a small town in Michigan). Boy, they were happy to see eachother. What are the odds?

What are you, a mutant?

Given my birth date and appearance(blonde hair, blue eyes), I think Antichrist is what most would call me. :p All I'm missing is some sort of connection to 666...

Witch!!!!!

one time i was thinking about doing it with my girlfriend and then 30 mins later it happened :crazyeye:

Three times, men in the past who have threatened me died in violent circumstances.
And within a month or two of their threats...To be fair they were crooks and scum
who lived dangerous lives...I had nothing to do with these guys outside victimhood.

Few were unhappy to see one them fished from a canal, for instance...

:)

Okay, those are not really amazing coincidences, but I find them pretty cool:

I met the same couple in 3 different locations in Europe. Funnily enough, at first they were boyfriend&girlfriend, the second time they were engaged, and the third time they were married (or getting married extremely soon, I forgot).

I moved out of my country to study - at a party in my new location, I made friends with a funny Russian dude, that later added me on Facebook. Then I saw that everyone in my class in highschool (yes, in my home country), that had an account there, had him as a friend. :p

And here are some name-related coincidences:

There's a guy with the same first name as me, who comes from the same city as me, finished the same highschool as me, and studies now here at the same university as me, although the distance between my highschool and my uni is ~1800 km. :p

Four of my ex-girlfriends had the same first name. It ended badly with all of them, but 2 of them were the only girls with which I could have reasonably had a long-time relationship, had everything gone all right (which it didn't).

I know at least 6 classical guitarists with cellist girls as girlfriends (that shouldn't really be so impressive, since I know hundreds of guitarists, and many people have partners with similar jobs or occupations). The best part is that I used to have one too (and guess what, she was one of those four with the same first name).

When I moved to Germany, after finding a great apartment to live in (and I can confirm after 6 months of living here that it is indeed great :D), I needed to talk some details with the guy that was renting my room before me. He was English, and at some point, after trying to call him while being with a couple of my friends, one of them asked me how I knew that he spoke English in the first place, when I contacted him. I wanted to say "well, with a first name like [his name], it should be pretty obvious", but then I realized that the first name in itself wasn't unique to English-speaking countries, although the spelling was, so my argument didn't make much sense in a conversation, although it would have made a lot more in writing. So I made up the last name "Connor" (don't ask me how I came up with it, I have no idea), to make the punchline more punchly. Fast forward one week, I'm signing the contract with him, and I see his last name. Guess what, it was Connor indeed! :p
Also, I joked a couple of times about my landlady "probably having a name like [typical German name]". And it turned out she did indeed have exactly that last name. Funnily enough, those last two coincidences happened within a couple of days from each other, last summer.

Witch!!!!!

I admit that in the past I've been a nasty... they weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch...

...I'll stop.

Your smiley makes you seem like one of those bad guys from Twilight. You have a dark subject, yet your constant smile makes people nervous.

Anywho, at least it was people who deserved it!

Can you please do something about Glenn Beck?

On topic, I was once awoken by an odd thumping one day from the roof above me. Whenever I closed my eyes, there'd be a thump, and whenever I opened them, it would stop. The sound didn't stop until I got my lazy ass out of bed.

^ What a coincidence (really), cause I was sleeping and right away when I woke up, I just felt like something was very wrong. I turned on the TV to see Columbia breaking up.

I always have weird feelings when bad things happen in the news. I just always seem to turn on the tv and think, well lets see what it is. Most notably would be the Haitian earthquake, I woke up and knew something had went down that day. Maybe it's primal instinct or that thing where negative thoughts by humans across the globe cause catastrophe.

Wow, we have Jedi in our midst.

One night, out of boredom, I read the Declaration of Independence aloud. Then, still bored, I read it while translating it into more...informal and blunt language.

The next day, one of the potential essay questions on my history exam -- not anticipated by me -- was to list and explain the major grievances of the Declaration. Since I'd done that twice the night before and knew it thoroughly, I was golden.

One time I was woken up with the certainty that somewhere in my building a radiator broke and was filling the cellar with water. I was so convinced I got dressed and went looking for it. Next day the radiator in my landlord's other building broke and filled the cellar with water.

November 14-16(I forget the exact day) of 2007, I wished for a guardian angel. My friend said they'd "see what they could do."

When I was awoken for dinner that night(I had gone to sleep after my friend said that), I was snapped awake after hearing my sister and her friend talk in fear about how they had seen something flying past their window. They said it was in the shape of a person...

I was like: "...Oh dear... Should I piddle myself or jump for joy?"
