R.I.P. Peter Graves

Too bad. :(
Bye bye Phelps!!

[insert mandatory pun about a dead man named 'Graves', so that silly people don't derail the thread into it and start flaming]

Bye bye Jim Newton!

Well, I can't not say something, all things considered. RIP. :(

In other news, CNN got a significant chunk of the facts for their obit from IMDB. At least they're honest about it, I guess...

Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?

In related news: spraying coca-cola through your nose hurts.

"You ever seen a grown man naked?"

About ten years ago I went to my cousin's wedding in Lake Tahoe right next to Peter Graves' summer home. My cousin's wife's (now ex) parents were summer home neighbors with him. That makes me and Peter Graves practically related, even though I never actually met him or saw him.

This makes me pretty sad. I never really accepted what they did to his character in the Mission Impossible movie. I'm glad he decided not to reprise the role after reading the script.

And by all means, from what I've heard he appears to have been one of the true good guys in Hollywood, not just on screen but in real life as well.
