Hello, everybody! This is my 3rd story (Story 2, Story 1) and this time I'm gonna try something different. I'm playing with the LOST WONDERS mod, which brings back all the wonders from past civilizations that were not featured in CIV 4. My goal is to build ALL of them (CIV 4 and older). Plus, I will be showing you all of my failed attempts. :)
Civ: Inca
Leader: Huyan Carpa (Industrious for wonders, financial for tech lead)
Size: Duel
Map type: Continents (one civ per continent)
Special: I will be adding a source of marble and stone in my capital's fat-cross and taking away any in my rival's (heck, it's practically a necessity)

So let's get rolling!
4,000 BC:

picture1ny.png

The city of Cuzco is founded. Pretty decent start, though I do wish it was a coastal city. (Several wonders need to be on coastal cities.) My warrior is commanded to scout, while production begins on a worker. Research is set to Meditation.

3,720 BC:

Spoiler :
picture2hv.png

Not too much happens on the following turns, but we did found Buddhism.

Spoiler :
picture3pa.png

And Hinduism (3,440 BC)

Spoiler :
picture4hx.png

And Judaism (2,800 BC), which I later convert to. Cuzco is now a triple holy city! It should bring some serious cash late game, but for now, it's focusing on production! [pimp]

2,400 BC:

Spoiler :
picture2wn.png

Our second city is founded (notice: coastal), and we adopt Organized Religion. VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!!! We also get to work on Stonehenge in our capital.

1,840 BC:

Spoiler :
picture1qo.png

Behold, the wonder (of hopefully many ;)) that is Stonehenge. 1 wonder down, a bunch more to go :D.

And that should be it for this update.

Suggestion? Comment? Concern? Outright rage  ? Please leave a comment and give me a false feeling of being loved. Seriously, leave a comment, it motivates me.

Expect another update really soon, most likely tonight!

Not much happens in the turns following Stonehenge, but we do happen to grap some more wonders :D

Spoiler :
picture2xrr.png

The Great Wall of Inca (1,320 BC)
Spoiler :
picture3qo.png

The Oracle (1,080 BC) (You can see it in the city!)

Spoiler :
picture5v.png

Mausollu of Masuallo, or how ever you spell it. (850 BC)

These are exciting time indeed!

In order to fufill my promise of getting another update tonight, I had to mack this one pretty short and half-assed. Expect an update tomorrow.

Have you missed any wonder?

Not yet, luckily. I would also suggest you click the mod link in the first post to see what all the new wonders do. I also forgot to mention that I founded Christianity with the Oracle.

Spoiler :
picture6e.png

A Great Prophet is born in Cuzco, and lightbulbs Code of Laws, granting us Confucianism. (825 BC) I would like to note that we have founded ALL RELIGIONS so far i the game. Just Taoism and Islam are needed to found all of them. :crazyeye: Things are going so well we have a revolution and convert to Christianity.

Spoiler :
picture8cl.png

In 500 BC, the Pyramids are completed and we adopt representation and slavery! :goodjob: Cuzo begins work on a Christian missionary and then a settler. It's nearing the end of the BC years and we still only have two cities! :crazyeye: Our coastal city finally gets started on the Great Lighthouse. A little late, but we still have a shot at completing it.

Spoiler :
picture9bj.png

In 375 BC, we finish the Great Lighthouse thanks to a few little slaves. But our research is crippled, 7 turns for alphabet! We need a 3rd city, ASAP!

Spoiler :
picture10l.png

We are the most advanced civilization on the planet!

Spoiler :
picture13t.png

We also complete the Statue of Zeus in 350 BC, wich gives
+100% military production, +2 free priests, +3 culture
(I choose to have my costal city work on the settler so my capital can continue to crank out wonders.)

Spoiler :
picture1et.png

A great Prophet completes the Church of the Nativity in 275 BC.

Spoiler :
picture3pl.png

In 125 BC, the Temple of Artemis is completed. We might actually do this!

Spoiler :
picture4zq.png

In 100 BC, we finally get our third city, Machu Picchu. These are exciting times for our people, as great adventurers choose to risk their lives and go places not traveled to since the dawn of man.

Before I finish up this update, I do have a poll. Should I A) write in style that I currently am, giving short updates whenever something important happens B) give turn-by-turn updates, writing about what happens ever turn C) write it like a story, naming characters and giving them backgrounds, or D) some combination of the 3

Example:
A) Our caravel discovered new land!!!

B) We move our carvel 6 spaces. (next turn) We move our caravel 2 more spaces when it discovers another continent.

C) A group of brave explorers set sail and risk live and limb for the sake of adventure. After days of nothing but the sight of the ocean surrounding them, they discover new land, and name it "Newland"

B? Btw looking good :p

Due to me having an isolated start (Duel + Continents = you're by yourself half the game), I don't think enough happens for me to give turn-by-turn updates, but I'll will try to give much more diverse and frequent updates so it doesn't look like I'm just reporting every wonder I get.

Spoiler :
picture1if.png

In 25 AD, a man by the name of James Cook is born in Cuzco, and is believed to be the start the first ever business, ever increasing Inca's treasury.

Spoiler :
picture2eh.png

In 50 AD, the Parthenon, a massive temple sitting on a hill just outside the city of Cuzco, is constructed. People flocked from miles around to see this wonder, and were inspired to great things by it.

Not too much happens the following turn, but I used this time to show you where my empire stands at this point:

In 325 AD, the Hanging Gardens of Cuzco was built, all to please a very nagging wife.

Spoiler :

picture3n.png

The same year, a Great Artist is born in Cuzco, and not having much for him to do ( he could discover drama  ) I pop Machu Pichu's borders.

With all the wonders I am building, Cuzco is becoming a GP powerhouse ( especially the Statue of Zeus (2 free priests) and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (1 free artist)) !

Spoiler :
picture1qd.png

We are the first to research music, and we save the free Great Artist for our next city.

Spoiler :
picture3jg.png

In 500 AD, the Colosus is completed, greatly enhancing our sea revenue.

Spoiler :
picture2jh.png

City-screen of Cuzco

Spoiler :
picture4mo.png

520 AD, our 4th city is founded and it's border's are expanded via Great Artist.

Spoiler :
picture5du.png

In 560 AD, we discover Civil Service, adopt Bureaucracy, and a Great Engineer is born in Cuzco!!! We have him rest one turn as we cannot build anything in a revolution.

Spoiler :
picture2xk.png

In 600 AD, with the help of a Great Engineer, we completed Lenordo's Workshop, which gives us:
Free Golden Age, + 1 free engineer, Upgrade cost halved for units built in its city
I don't know how we would've been able to build that without the Engineer. (17 turns ! )

This is truly an era of Greatness for the Incan people. Our culture, economy, and production all grow as our empire greatly expands. But what lay beyond the great mass of water surrounding the Incan continent is still a mystery.

Well, I believe I got an update for every turn or two, but something important happened that often anyways, so it wasn't that big of a change.

Again, I would like to stress that comments are really appreciated! It makes me feel like all the effort I put into writing this is really worth it!

NOTICE: In addition to building all wonders, I have decide to also aim to get all projects
as well.

Spoiler :
picture1wcw.png

In 680 AD, Taoism is founded in Machu Pichu. All that's left is Islam! :worship:

Spoiler :
picture1tlc.png

In 700 AD, Chichen Itza is completed. Finally! We now have a respectful place to slaughter foolish heavens. :king:

Spoiler :

In 800 AD, we construct the Great Library, and our Golden Age ends.

Spoiler :
picture3au.png

In 820 AD, we build our 5th city :D Also, a great engineer is born in Cuzco, which is HUGELY important.

Spoiler :
picture5gt.png

In 840 AD, we use our Great Engineer to build Marco Polo's embassy, which gives us
+1 extra trade route in its city, enables all Economy civics, + 2 culture
Obsolete with Communism
We use this to adopt mercantilism. That's how you win on Noble, kids! Mercantilism + Representation = EPICNESS

Spoiler :
picture1p.png

In 980 AD, WE DID IT!!! WE FOUNDED ISLAM!!!! :worship::clap::bowdown::mwaha:
Ohhhhh, this is great :D That other civ is going to be without a religion half the game! Do you know what it's like to not receive any religious civic bonus during the most crucial part of the game? We have a HUGE advantage! :goodjob:

Spoiler :
picture1tm.png

In 1,000 AD, Sun Tzu's War Academy was completed, which grants:
+ 2 XP points in all cities, + 25% great generals inside or outside borders, + 4 culture
Obsolete with Military Tradition
to restore our crumbling army, as ZACK(DaBeast? Why the hell did you change your name :crazyeye: ) previously mentioned.

Spoiler :
picture3wk.png

Here's shot of Cuzco, notice how all seven religions are present!

Spoiler :
picture4go.png

In 1,050 AD, the Sistine Chapel is completed, giving the best and finest religion in the world a place to hold their ever so faithful worshipers :jesus:

Spoiler :
picture1ng.png

Wow! Mali, eh! How the hell did he meet us so early?!? I'm always the first to sail to the new world. Well, let's try trading with these strange, black people.

Spoiler :
picture2dy.png

MAN, your backwards! Seems like you just researched a few early techs then went straight to Optics! It's past 1,000 AD and you still don't have Code of Laws! What do you want for Optics?
Spoiler :
picture3bh.png

Ummm, no. :nope: But we do sign open borders, I give him 70 gold for his world map, and we go our separate ways. We need Optics ASAP if we expect to sail around the world first!

Will these untrustworthy black people be kind with the Incans? Will we be the first to sail around the world? Will we be able to build all wonders? Find out next time, on Build, Baby, Build!

hey be careful with those black remarks! :p

Yeah I tried to write this from the point of view of a leader of a Christian Nation in the early 1,000's. :p (notice, foolish heavens, ect.) They never saw this type of people before and are fascinated by it.

Notice: Imageshack is being a turd and not uploading the pictures correctly! :wallbash: So please bear with me and I will try uploading the pictures again at a later date. EDIT: Nevermind, they're working now!

Mali still is selfish with their techs
Spoiler :
picture4fh.png

I think not. :nope:

1,120 was quite the year!

Spoiler :
picture1hj.png

We finished researching Optics by our Goddamn selves, thank you very much

Spoiler :
picture2h.png

Noter Dame was also finished that turn

Spoiler :
picture3zs.png

We also finished a missionary (AKA Yared) and whipped a carvel. Mali's boat is still exploring my coast, so we might be able to pull this off!!!

A great engineer was also born in Cuzco and rushes King Richard's Crusade / Knights Templar, due next turn!

Spoiler :
picture7jb.png

In 1,130, we complete Knights Templar, which gives
+ 1 :commerce: from every state religion building, +25% :hammers: in city, + 50% GG emergence both inside and outside cultural borders
Obsolete with Steam Power
That extra production bonus would be great!

Spoiler :
picture5ln.png

We also build our first Caravel and name it "Z4ckDaBeast Forever". Yared boards the ship and sails to the new world.

Spoiler :
picture4jt.png

We have constructed Veraisells, or however you spell it, greatly cutting the cost of our expansion south.

Spoiler :
picture9fa.png

The following turn, a group named "The Doner Party" consisting of a settler, a warrior, and a great artist start heading towards the icy lands down south. Remember that, kids! Land is extremely important in duel-sized maps. There's not a lot to go around! No need for Mali to get there first!

Bob: Hey, Joe, why are we settling in the icy lands down south when there's much warmer and nicer places up North?

Joe: SO THOSE BLACK PEOPLE DON'T GET THERE FIRST AND STEAL OUR JOEHBS!!!!

Bob: What do we care? It's useless land anyways.

Joe: WHAT ARE YOU A FREAKIN' JEW!?!?!

: Joe suppects that Bob might possibly be a racist :hide: :

P.S. A free cookie to whoever gets the reference of "Bob" and "Joe" :mischief:

Spoiler :
picture2umw.png

In 1,160, Z4ckDaBeast Forever carried a group of brave explorers who set sail and risk live and limb for the sake of adventure. After days of nothing but the sight of the ocean surrounding them, they discover new land, and name it "Newland". Yared is the first to set foot on Newland and made several fascinating discoveries. He noticed that much of Newland is unclaimed, making it a perfect spot for some over-seas colonies. Secondly, he is amazed at how he didn't fall of the edge of the earth, and assumes the earth is actually round!:crazyeye: But work is afoot! He quickly builds a mission and converts much of the natives.

Spoiler :
picture3sj.png

The Doner party finally reaches the icy south and settles there, and its borders are expanded via great artist.

I'm gonna end it there. Remember, comments are always appreciated and also motivate me to get more updates done. Seriously, comment on anything, I NEED TO FEEL LOVED!!!!!1!!!1!!11!!!11132141seven
