Computer games music

I suppose I could come with the completely obvious ones(Monkey Island, Civ4 and others), but in stead I present you the music of the scariest game I've ever played(terror missions at night against snakemen and chryssalids are still the scariest thing ever, and I've played a lot of games). And the music has to take a lot of the honour for making me feel that. Ufo: Enemy Unknown:

edit: And the OP's links work fine now at least.

Of course Civ IV (it is composed of some of the greatest pieces ever, as well as the ever-awesome Baba Yetu) and Civ III is not bad.

You mean "Beneath a steel sky", surely.

Dragon's Lair 2 had excellent music.

Anything by Rob Hubbard. He remains the all-time king of computer game music.

Mega-Lo-Mania had fantastic music - Holst in-game, and an absurdly over-the-top Jean Michel Jarre-alike track for the introduction.

Of contemporary stuff, I actually very much like the music for Galaxy On Fire. Also Beatles Rock Band has pretty good music. I don't know who did it though.

MDK and MDK 2 had pretty cool soundtrcks, too.
Starcraft had one or two interesting themes as well...

Cruise for a Corpse, an old adventure game, had also nice music :)
Unfortunately it is not on youtube by itself, only the longplay exists.

And it is beneath a steel sky, yes.

I'll go with the TF2 intro songs.

civ4, but as mentioned, they were already famous before being in the game. So they had that advantage. So it's really hard to compare it to music "created" recently for modern games.

Braid had some amazing music to go along with its amazing gameplay. In fact I urge you all to purchase this game and play it, because it's that amazing.

Anyway, "Downstream" is the song I remember the most.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert brings us the glory that is "Hell March":

Dah-na-nana-na-nana-na-na! Dah-na-nana-nanna-na-nana-na-nanna-na-ner!

I've always had a soft spot for "Edge of Soul", the opening theme from Soul Blade (Soul Edge in the US, I think). It's an absolutely enthralling mixture of surprisingly decent folk metal and cheese laden Japanese pop-rock.
