The small group of refugees stood on the small hill looking back at Cevedes. Nothing obvious changed at first, there were no great gouts of fire or buildings flying through the air, and at first everyone wondered if it had actually gone of as scheduled. Then they saw the guards on the wall collapse, then the armies outside lay down as if a god had declared cosmic naptime. For a few minutes they stared back watching and wondering at the end of war. Then the wave washed over the group. The mind mage Autolycus screamed out as he shielded everyone but still they felt the effects. For a moment they all felt like they just wanted to lay down and die, but then it passed and they all looked around at their party. One by one they noticed their protector, the mind mage Autolycus was lying on the ground.

You are a Mage of Amure. You worked on the mind-bomb, and now are trying to lead the refugee train to safety (and no, you won't be getting all this data for everyone who dies)

But he was not dead, and from his coma he began to speak “treachery, they’re trying too kill you” then his voice changed and “fools you will die in the apocalypse that is coming”. The group looked at him for a moment and some even reached for weapons to kill him, but he had saved them, and probably was still saving them. So they just stood there as he babbled on the thoughts of a madman.
Gradually they realized that the thoughts were useful, the mind mage was showing them the traitors strategy, and if they listened they might learn
much

The metamagic mage ATPG said “the city won’t be safe from the aftereffects of the mind bomb for years so we should head somewhere else”
“but which way should we go, I see routes 3 routes, we can go through the infernal terriotory towards Elohim territory, we can venture into the desert, or we can delve into the nearby caves. Without the mind mage Autolycus leading us I say we vote” the diplomat Johnhughthum offered.

"Aye!" the Innkeeper spoke. "This is a bit o' a problem, ye lads and lassies. I see o'ly one way to goo; the Infernal gits, least they got a bit o' wine at their abode. Plus, don't ya know, desert got no water, cave got no water, aye, at least the Infernal have a bit of coast. Head to the Hellish fields!" All those landlubbers, they needed a hardened Lanun soul to guide them.

I say we head towards the desert, I can guide us to safety better if I am on familiar ground. May Lugus reveal these traitors to us and guide us to safety.

Her thin, ragged appearance betraying a past marked by suffering and hardship, the Waif looks around with suspicious eyes and a defensive scowl. When she speaks, the solitary word is whispered with a touch of menace.

Desert

Let's head into them caves me boys. I be looking for good mats to forge, aye.

vote: abstain.

wot :crazyeye:

As for where to go, I think I will wait until everyone states the reason why they want to go to the places they say.

The Priest of Leaves looks around at the group of refugees. Their faith in the leaves is not strong, I will help them see the light, which in turn will help them go through "photosynthesis" and allow them to return the big tree in the sky after death. We need to go somewhere with leaves. No way we're going to the Desert or some Infernal place, there's never ANY plant life there (or at least the important ones, the ones with leaves).

Caves.

Well I have already stated why I feel we should head to the desert, I say we should stay as far away from the Infernals as much as possible and I don't like going underground. And I must correct you Zack that on the way to and in the desert there is more familiar life to one of the leaves than a cave which is filled only with fungi (not even a plant)

Don't question the Priest of Leaves, no matter how flawed my logic may appear! The caves are... erm.... holier! Yeah!

Caves. Is this based on some story/fictional world that i somehow don't know about?

This is based on the world of FFH. A mod of Civ4

OOC: the FFH mod, which info can be found here, though someone can post more focused info.
Curses Seon

Oh, I'll read about that... in a couple days. Mesa have-a no time-a now.

But, of course, civ4 sucks compared to civ3

HERESY!!!!

Desert is clearly the best option... Infernal territory should be obviously ruled out, and a cave will be pitch black and full of nasty holes. Much better if we can at least see the dangers we are facing.

"Ya don't see wut ye're sayin'? We gots to have water! Aye, I spent me whole life in the blue stuff! Ya gunna lose yer minds without some liquid! At least the Infernal got a wee bit of drenched land! Ye got no discretion, we ain't going to the desert on my watch!"
