Not An Evil Liar
Spoiler :
Capria's mouth dropped with horror as she listened to the messenger. The Amurite had fallen to the Sheaim; yet another ley line had fallen into the followers of the Veil.
"Lady Capria..." the archmage began to say. Capria raised a hand to silence him. She already understood. A dark storm cloud was beginning to form over all of Erebus. The Sheaim was preparing to break apart this world. Capria rushed over to the tactical map of Erebus.
"HOW MANY DAYS?!" Capria shouted.
"we-well" the archmage began to stammer. "By the looks of i-"
"I SAID HOW MANY DAYS!" Capria shouted once more, grabbing on to the collar of the arch mage. "15 days. At the most!" the archmage said, choking.
Capria dropped the archmage. She felt all her energy drain away from her. 15 days. Not nearly enough time...
"I am sorry, Lady Capria," the archmage said.
"No," Capria said. "We can still do this. Tell all soldiers to gear up. We begin marching to the closest ley line immediately."
"We will never make there in time!" the archmage said.
"What, do you want us to give up now? Requisition every horse from the civillians. We need that to make it there in time. Tell them to drop all siege weapons. If we are lucky, we might make there in time. If we are luckier, then we might just survive this thing."
"But my lady..." the archmage said. "The Sheaim have infiltrators everywhere. They will know that we are coming."
"Yeah, I know." Capria said. She opened her wardrobe and pulled out a helmet. "So I suggest you begin praying to Junil right now."
"Besides," Capria said as she put on her helmet. "Maybe, if we are the luckiest people on Erebus, our friends will help us out.."
