Game Information

  • Adhere to the forum rules. Obviously.
  • Updates will be barebones, so don't hold your breath.
  • Day and Night are both 24 hours.
  • The game is vanilla, 2 mafia and 13 townies. There is a twist, of course.
  • During the Day Phase, you may vote for who you believe to be guilty.
  • Votes must be bolded.
  • If you wish to change your vote, you may simply bold another player's name. No unvotes or strikeouts required.
  • Whoever has the most votes at the end of the day phase will be killed, and the game will advance to night.
  • During the night phase, the mafia will send me the name of the player the wish to kill. You may talk during the night phase. Try not to get too spammy.
  • If you are dead, you are no longer able to vote, or reveal any of your previous night actions or claim anything you did while alive that isn't present in the thread. You may indicate who you believe is mafia/town/whatever, however. But unless you use their in-thread behavior as a reason, or give no reason, you are not allowed to explain why.
  • Private communication will be decided by the poll.
  • Do not quote any message I (or anyone else) may send you; you must use your own words. This means you can never quote your role PM and copy it here in this thread, or reveal it privately.
  • No Lynch is allowed, and Abstain is allowed. Inactivity will result in replacement or WOG.
  • Alignment is revealed upon death.
  • No spam or editing posts, save for grammatical fixes.

The game will start as soon as I have 14 players.

For those of who did not play or read over the original, it was probably one of the craziest mafia games to ever grace CFC. The setup for that game is below.

Mafia​
  • Zack
  • Didn't show up on Player List
  • 1 kill each night
  • Immune to conversion
  • Nightly kill decided by RNG
Besides that, I was a regular player. I had no lynch immunity, no special powers, nothing. Just a lone vanilla mafia.
Cult​
  • Could convert 1 person to their team each night
  • Could communicate privately in the QuickTopic linked to above
  • Knew all other cultists' identities
  • Immune to Innocent conversion
  • New leader sent Leader PM 1 phase after previous leader's death
Town
  • Could convert 1 person to their team each night
  • Leader could protect 1 person from night kill and subsequent lynch
  • Leader knew all townies' identities, but the townies themselves didn't know anyone's identity
  • Immune to Cult conversion
  • New leader sent Leader PM 1 phase after previous leader's death

You are the Town Leader.

Victory Condition: Innocent - You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
Ability: Each night, you may introduce a new member into your town faction. Currently, you are its only member.
Ability: Each night, send me the name of one player. That player will be prevented from being killed that night, in addition to being lynch immune the following day. You may not target yourself with this ability.
Weakness: None of the townies you convert will know any of the other townies.

The villagers of the Community had always lived peacefully - or at least, for as long as anyone could remember. War was an unusual concept to the Community. What would be the purpose, anyways? The Community has managed to get by splendidly without resorting to war. Everyone in the Community contributed, did their part to ensure life went on. Some hunted, some farmed, some healed; there were countless jobs that needed to be done, and they were always completed.

Until now.

A foreign people have come to the Community, and the results have been anything but good.

All involved parties are represented here on the Council. Each side has their goals, their motives. Yours is clear - all threats to the wellbeing of the Community must be terminated. Immediately.

You must hurry. Time is running out.

Ability: You survive the first lynch attempt on yourself.

The Community has managed to get by splendidly without resorting to war. Everyone in the Community contributed, did their part to ensure life went on. Some hunted, some farmed, some healed; there were countless jobs that needed to be done, and they were always completed.

Until now.

A foreign people have come to the Community, and the results have been anything but good.

All involved parties are represented here on the Council. Each side has their goals, their motives. Yours has been clear since the very moment the foreigners have arrived. They have made your life one that isn't worth living. Your way of life destroyed, your peaceful ways forgotten - not even death could be worse than this (assuming that you die by lynch, it's well known among the Community that anyone who dies at night is banished to spend eternity burning in Hell.

Cult Leader

Victory Condition: Spreading the Good Word - You win when your cult and its members are the only players left alive. Everyone else must be eliminated by whatever means possible.

Ability: You are immune to scans.
Ability: You can talk to fellow cultists in this QuickTopic located here, but not anywhere else outside of the thread.

The Community is pathetic. Its people are weak, spineless fools. Your people have come to this land to help them redeem themselves from their pitiful ways. It won't be an easy task, that is for sure - but it is a necessary one. People may die, but in the long run, their sacrifice will be for the greater good.

Well, knowing the speed of these games, it's probably going to be part-way through the game by that point. If you can't play, then just don't say IN, like I am saying now.

Where we last left off...

The Council members sat uncomfortably, each concerned for his backside. What was the point of this Council, again? The dictator in charge, Zack, never let it do anything of significance. It seemed like the only thing the Council was good for was corruption, betrayal, and murder.

Zack - the aforementioned dictator - did not need to call for silence, as there was already no noise in the room. "Time to start the meeting, gentlemen. Keep this in mind during discussion, lest you should be castrated:

  • Two of you are my minions. Twelve of you are not.
  • During the Day Phase, you may vote for who you believe to be one of my minions.
  • Votes must be bolded.
  • Private communication OF ANY KIND is forbidden. If you have something to say, tell us all. We don't keep secrets in here. Well, except for me.
  • Do not directly quote anything I tell you in private; you must use your own words.
  • No Lynch is not allowed, but Abstain is.
  • When a Councilor dies, you will learn whether or not they were one of my minions.
  • What has been said, has been said, and cannot be changed!"
