Alrighty then, literate masses ahoy.
Here is the chance to pen your own haiku.
They can be deep or irreverent, insightful or shallow, serious or humorous.
The convention is 5-7-5, however this really only applies to haiku written in Japanese. There is still much conjecture over the correct convention for English.
However, for this thread we will use the 5-7-5 convention where possible, artistic licence is allowed.
Please, do not disparage the attempts of others, if you have something to add constructively, then please do so. If you have nothing but derision, then kindly find another thread.
