The old thread's poll was out of date, so I decided to come out with a new poll.

So, the basic question is: Of the candidates who have declared, who do you think will win the party nomination? All candidates are listed, from the big boys to the pipsqueaks.

Myself? I think Mitt Romney is going to win.

Finally, please keep the thread civil and serious.

If Cain can sustain his momentum, he has a good shot.

I think he can play to his advantage by controlling the debates about 9-9-9 because most of his competitors don't know what the plan is all about.

Based on what Cain has said at the debates and in interviews as compared to the plan as detailed on his website, it appears that Herman Cain doesn't know what the plan is all about.

It looks like Gary Johnson finally has a shot. Maybe at 50% they'll let him into the next debate. ;)

It does seem that it's Romney's to lose. But he could still lose it. Perry has done really poorly in the debates. But I can't count him out.

Who wins the GOP nomination and who I'm ultimately voting for are mutually exclusive. It's probably either going to either of the Ken dolls or the Cainesian.

I think Rick Perry is done. He's flopped in debates, he's got the vaccination albatross around his neck, and an absolutely awful illegal immigration policy. He's lost my support, as well as many other Americans. To add on to that Romney, has the endorsements of Jim DeMint and Chris Christie, which I think carry some wait.

No one stated otherwise. :) But based on what's happened so far, who do you think the Republican party will nominate.

Eyewil Lou Sto'Obomma.
When did he announce his candidacy?

Double post.

Romney is the only one with any chance left to unseat Obama, thus Romney is the only plausible winner if the process makes any sense.
