Hey guys, just to let you know, I'm in the middle of a state wide power outage due to a freak storm here in Connecticut. I've had no electricity or net since saturday. And it may be another week before the power is restored. i'm using a public computer to leave messages. I don't know when I'll have power or net again. Even when the town is restored (as of this morning, over 60% in town have no power, I may still be offline for a while because the power and phone cables from the street to my building were broken by a falling tree. The power company is very slow in restoration. I've got water, hot water, a gas grill for cooking, and a fireplace. But no electric and little phone. I don't even have much cell service, because a number of cell towers were damamged locally. I'm not hungry or really cold, but I am bored. Doing a lot of reading. Got a nice light that recharges from the car.

Anyways, see ya someday.

My power/internet/landline just came back up last night from that storm, and local cellular coverage only a little before that. Good luck and stay sane, I hope the visiting utility repair crews (I heard there was a crew from as far away as Montana, and we had at least a dozen from Vermont around here) show up for you soon.

Power and net came back on at my place today. Sooner than expected, but then I live on a main road near a business district. Power still out at my mother's house. So I've been staying over there because she has a fireplace and so I keep the house a little warm with a fire.

Wierd, I've gotten the snow yet did not lose power. Except for the occasional "WTH, Snow?! At this time of year!"
