I'm gonna be Japan.

In 1917 the old emporer of the ottoman empire died and an new man was the Emporer his name was Suleyman (I know, not right time but.....).
He was born in the old capital of Istanbul/Constantinopel/Byzantum (you get it), and his biggest dream was again to have the capital and his palace in this city, his hometown and his beloved city.

I was going to call the Confederae States, but seeing as they are taken, I think I will watch and see how things turn out.

Not the most historicolly accuarte thing in the world but I'll take the USA before anyone else grabs them.

Puglover the Great recived the presidentcy with great feasts and festivites! His first order of business was to move the capital to Branson, Missouri!

The map is amazing, and almost right....

but (to show off my superior knowledge of these books, which I haven't read in a while:

1) The Russians were not the USSR, and were instead becoming antisemitic, much like the Nazis. They weren't on their wat to USSRhood.

2) Mr. Turtledove made a big deal about Ireland being independent, it is significant that they are, and they probably should be.

occ: SKILORD you are right about Ireland but you will notice that the map already has too many nations on it. Also if you want to be picky the leader of Qubec was called the Premier. EQ if you wish you can have the CSA I will then take the USSR.

occ: Just thought I would menmtion that countries in ciilv war eg Mexico and Russia have two factions able to do diplomacy. I sugest you conclude these before you go into foreign conflicts as you may find yourself losing one of the battles if not both.

The Austrian State was an opressive one. Untill now. Reforms have been voted in. Here are the new state laws.

-Everyone has the right to vote.
-Everyone is a citizen, no matter what race or religion you are.
-A new flag has been created, honoring the heritage of all peoples cultures in the country.
-New state emblem created.
-Army no longer uses segragated squads

The Confederate States of America had been defeated badly by the Yankees in the Great War. From this a fanatic blaming blacks for the South's misfortune is rising with a party of his own in the democracy. Feelings of resentment toward the North have been rising daily. The south would rise once more to defeat the North once and for all.
