Egyptian city style

I think it would be very hard to spot the details on a small scale.

stico, it's not a city. It's a Temple Of Karnak model, but without sphynx valley, Precinct of Hut & precinct of Montu. I'd beg to have it as a Wonder splash. :) It's the biggest ancient temple, it was built by a number of pharaohs - and you still count it as not a wonder? Unfair. :)

When making your Egyptian city, keep in mind that the Egyptians laid out their cities and towns in a fairly straight and regular grid. Note also that the pyramids were built at a distance from the cities and were not part of them. Temple complexes such as Karnak covered huge areas and were in a sense cities within cities. They were one measure of the power of the Egyptian priesthood. I agree with Wolfie; make Karnak a great wonder.

A very cool guy georgestow made a bldg icons (for sheets & civilopedia) of very good and, I suppose, absolutely satisfying quality (you can find them in his personal thread), but not a wonder splash - this is the only thing I can request (george made it too but I'd prefer something more monumental :)).
