Irrigation with crops

I've been experimenting with irrigation with crops lately, adding crops to Pounder's Fitted Irrigation files. Here are some of my recent experiments:

This was my first effort at adding crops. I researched the crops grown in the ancient Mediterranean for this, and most are in there. The grapevines came out well, I thought.

So any irrigated square with a resource on it, (such as the tobacco in your screen shot) will show up as an enclosure?

Not really; that's a stone wall, standing in for a mine. Look down to the other pics to see I used the same technique in the Lost Worlds scenario. I just prefer it to having little mines everywhere.
 
Hey I like those. The use of color is not only a big plus, but the color is also contrasted nicely with your terrain choice.

Thank you, Zu. They would go well with your terrain too, I'd guess. The terrain I used to make the screenshot is actually my Old West terrain, used because it was handy - I wouldn't normally expect to see redwoods in Greece!

I had other styles of irrigation made, but my computer ate them. Honestly.

Oh yes... I've been there too. One reason that I have not updates my Persian cities yet is because after I had made all my little buildings... I was not aware I needed to plug in my computer and it shut off!!! I didn't save the work. :(.

It happens :p

Can't you recover the file? What program(s) were you using?
 
A rar file. I put them into the rar file without realizing that I'd deleted them from my files in the process. Then I changed my mind about posting them all in one file and deleted the rar file. *poof!* Didn't realize I'd done it for days; by then, it was to late to recover them.

I can recreate them when I have the time; to order even, if you have a particular set of crops in mind..
