Team Fortress 2 Mafia: Game Thread [concluded]

Welcome to Team Fortress 2 Mafia, hosted by choxorn and kill fire. We hope you enjoy your stay, and go kill some mafia.

Some things to note: If your Role PM says your alignment is BLU Team, you're innocent. If it says your alignment is RED Team, you're mafia. And, before anyone asks, because I know someone will, yes, there is more than one of each class in this game. It would be hard to make a 40-role mafia game based on something that only has 9 characters.

The Rules, if you need a reminder about them. I'll also post in this post anything else that needs to be posted.

The game will begin as soon as we finish sending out PM's and make posts in this thread. Do not post until we say it's okay to. Please?

For decades, Blutarch and Redmond Mann have sent their mercenaries to battle for control of the land left to them by their father. Today, on Well, the story is no different.

“Success!” roars from every loudspeaker in the base as the BLU team caps the final point and hunts down the fleeing members of the opposing team. “Ha! I knew puny little baby men were no match for us!” a Heavy shouts to his teammates. A nearby Demoman lets out a resounding laugh. “Gud work lads! Now les’ get movin’, me an’ scrumpy need some alone time!” The rest of the team lets out a chorus of agreement, and then begin to move towards the exit of the RED base. Just as the team begins to file out, however, the sound of a shouting Sniper booms from just above them.

“Oi! What do you think you’re- OMPH! GAAAAAAAH!”

Only seconds later, the body of a BLU Sniper crashes through one of the windows on the top floor of the RED base. It falls, face-first, on to the ground with a loud *thud*. Several members of the BLU team quickly huddle around it. After examining it for a moment, they quickly notice the butterfly knife firmly lodged in its back. “Oh dis is bad!” A heavy says despairingly. “I smell a no-good dirty snake around here.” An Engineer declares. The others murmur in agreement. A moment later, a Scout rushes up to the group, “What the hell is goin’ on around here? All tha’ exits are locked!” He stops dead at the sight of the Sniper’s body, “Ah, crap!” For a brief moment, no one says anything, staring fixedly at the corpse before them. A Soldier clears his throat, breaking the silence, and everyone turns to face him, “Keep your wits about you,” he says, “you are men, not a bunch of frilly sissies! We are still in control of the situation!” He turns back to the body. “Now, first we secure the weap-“ He falls silent as he and the others discover that the knife has already been removed from the Sniper’s back. “I bet it was you!” the Engineer says, pointing an accusatory finger at the recently arrived Scout, “You were the last one to get here, probably because you were too busy stabbin’ this poor fella in the back!” The Scout closes in on the Engineer and angrily replies, “Me?!? You were the closest to that knife, I bet you took it, you freakin’ coward!” The two stare at each other with heated expressions for a while, before the Engineer finally decides to back off. “Maybe we all better go our separate ways,” he says, backing away from the others, eyeing them suspiciously. “Yeah, maybe we should,” the Scout responds, doing the same.

The rest of the team disbands soon after. One thing has been made painfully clear to all of them: there are Spies about, and none of them are getting out alive until they’ve hunted down and beaten the living crap out of every single one!

Day 1 will start as soon as we've sent out all the role PM's.

And... Sent.

Day 1 has begun. It will end in approximately 48 Hours, or 9:00 PM PST/12:00 AM EST/5:00 AM GMT.
