Rest of the Leaders Challenge (RLC)

I've been thinking about continuing ALC (I'm assuming that most people have heard of it) following the sterling work of Sisiutil, Lord Parkin and Benginal.

I've been trying to think of a title that is close enough to ALC but without usurping the title as the original series has almost legendary status on the forum.

There's still plenty of leaders left to be covered:

I would like to play along, and discuss strategy with other players to improve game play. I have been waiting for more forum games!

I don't see why you don't just continue the original series. That's what Parkin and Benginal did. I think Sis would have no problem with it and even encourage it.

Sitting Bull is next. Probably immortal, normal speed, fractal map, standard settings.

Special map, special map! Perhaps great plains just like the RL Geronimo lived.

I preferred something more special like boreal, but SB did not lived there.

Nice mongolian forced diplo. That's the only way of a true mongol.

Tachywaxon: the debate about maps was argued ad nauseam in the original ALC series iirc. I'm going to unilaterally declare that the series will contine on fractal. One thing I don't want to do is spend several pages each game arguing about maps, opponents, tweaking resources etc etc. I'll go fractal and try to deal with whatever the map throws at me.

Meanwhile RLC#4 is about to start .

RLC4 is done.

Time to think about RLC#5. Sulemain of the Ottomans.

Its time to post a humiliating public defeat so with advanced apologies to anyone of Turkish nationality or descent RLC#5 Suleiman is going to be on Deity.

Hopefully posters of all skill levels or none will feel free to chip in with comments, advice and the occasional derisory guffaw.
