Coming Soon V3 (workshop v3)

Beta Testing now Open via Github!

Outstanding artwork; if I'd never heard of modding before, I would swear it belonged in the official game.

Wow you guys are really putting me to shame  Great, great work :goodjob:

@chrome: Should this be stickied or do you want to post it into the first post of the main thread?

Still got more bits to add :0, also anyone know the total numbers for units and "buildings & wonders"?

  • Buildings 347 (-70 for wonders)
  • Wonders 33 custom, 37 normal, 70 total(Going by splash screen count)
  • Units 155

Looks great. I thought that we'd be able to add our own maps/scenarios though with V.3 though. Is there something to it?

All of the code for adding new maps is working, I updated the tutorial section a little and also answered your question in that thread, sry for the longish delay in replying but have been a bit preoccupied :)

Love this overwhelming mod, wish it had a tutorial to read. Been a ps3'er whole life, only 6 months at computer gaming and addicted to civ, i think it's starting to affect my marriage, lol. To the point. I was under the impression that the leaders would have different traits, or bonuses, or that you can configure them somehow, or that you can add some. Sorry new at modding. Can you inform me please. Also whats the difference between picking assassin, god heir, el president, etc? Thanks for making video gaming more intriguing.

Also, your probably going to think im out of the loop or an idiot on this. But what the hell is follow the neon river?

You can, you will need to get familar with Modbuddy to do any type of modding properly. You can find the Traits in CIV5Traits.xml. Take a look over in the
Civ5 - Modding Tutorials & Reference so you can get familiar with the SDK tools.

Also whats the difference between picking assassin, god heir, el president, etc?

That option currently does nothing that effects gameplay, it is still under development :)

I've been trying unsuccessfully to add my own pre-made scenario.

This MOD is bar-none the best out there, but it's impossible to play for those of us who want to use pre-made scenarios. I've attempted to build a WWIII scenario, but find it impossible to do.

In short, the biggest (dare I say only) fault with this MOD is that it isn't accessible to map-builders who aren't coders.

Is anything underway to make it more accessible?

You should state which is V3b and V3c. One is extended and V3b. I'm confused.

Edit:
And I never finish an era before I advance. Extended sounds bad to me. . . I hope that is temporary.

It is stated, The normal one says "Community Call to Power v3" in the mods menu.
The Extended one Says "Extended Community Call to Power v3" in the mods menu. Cant get no plainer than that, you can only have one or the other active at any one time. Extended is meant for the players that like LONG drawn out games that we can not provide with the Vanilla Gamespeeds due to reaching the 215k Beaker Cap. it is not meant there for everyone, its Optional.

Dat Imperial Guard. In the Grim Darkness of Civilization V, there are only denouncements, denouncements everywhere!
