The Story of America: From start to Finish

As mentioned in Emperor Edition, I will attempt to play from the ancient era to the information era, on emperor. As America. This will be extremely hard, so I will need to rush to build a religion ASAP before the tithe or church property belief is taken and the game from then on is screwed. Nothing else could possibly save the game, so timing is key. I will use my formula for my game as Babylon: Popped tradition, get gpt beliefs. I hope all this works, and enjoy the chapters.

Ancient Era: CHAPTER 1

The dust has settled. The sun pops out of the sky. Out comes millions of life forms that survived the great apocalypse that enveloped the earth for million of years. Now, a new a dominant life form has arrived: The Human. For the next 65 million years, they will be the only life capable of building time defying civilizations. One, America, is among the many civilizations that will rise or fall during the next millions of years. Mike III, a man of his word, has vowed to lead his civilization to the glorious or bitter end through a domination victory. History starts now. Welcome to America. Washington is built. Mike III wants to build a monument for his greatness. It is quickly built. Culture is flourishing. Now, land needs to be explored to help expand the great American civilization. One city won't do. Ancient ruins are found. They reveal barbarians around the area. The warrior group continues to explore and finds good land to settle. It is a hilly desert, good for production, and it's next to the sea. This was good for food and trade.

Further along the coast they found a Babylonian scout. Nebuchadnezzar greets Mike III, saying foolish people think he is a god, but doubts it. He asks what Mike III is. Then, Japan is discovered. Babylon and America trade embassies. Mike III also plans on making the great library. It will take a while, an barbarians are a problem. New York is founded on the planned site.
Intense hand to hand combat goes on until a barbarian camp is destroyed. Mike III's rule so far is good. Plans are made to settle again. Washington's vast salt mines and other resources are improved. America and Japan exchange embassies. Japan does it for 25 gold, since they cant get Mike III's capital.
CHAPTER 2: The Classical Era
A barbarian made the mistake of entering Washington. They were defeated. A barbarian camp was destroyed at the cost of a scout. Japan, for 21 gold, asks Mike III if he can set up an embassy in Washington. A deal is made. There are plans to settle near old faithful. Then, that scumbag Nebuchadnezzar declares war on Mike III! Washington is flooded with enemies! They take massive losses and make no progress. A heavy defense is put up. Swordsmen are built.
Japan allies with America and become friends. The remaining force retreats. So far, the war is going well.
Mikeism is founded, and my economic formula is sucessful!!!! The Colossus is made in New York. A defensive line around Washington is made until the National college is made. Catapults will be built and then Babylon can be taken. Boston is founded and Russia is discovered. The assault on Babylon had to be called off. It was too slow and the advantage was lost. The Americans would hold the position until otherwise.

Sounds like you're off to a pretty good start.Keep it up!

Babylon is a threat that should be neutralized quickly. imo anyways.he always back stabs me. good story so far. i well have my sorry up when I'm done with my game. probably a couple weeks out still as im not gonna write it up until i win or lose. 1st go on emperor with France.

The Rennaisance era:
Things were changing fast for Mike III. His job now was to deliver a crushing blow to Babylon and stop them dead in their tracks. They would not make any peace, and any offer to make peace was the equivilent of unconditional surrender, which Mike III would NOT tolerate at all.
This "deal" also demanded all of Mike III's gold and future profits. Not happening. Mike III rebuilt his forces. He also founded the city of Philidelphia. The compounds of gunpowder were discovered. This went under experimentation, and muskets were born. This obsoleted all the Longswordsmen and Pikemen instantly. These men, later known as minutemen, would form up to create the Continental Army. This force would be a very strong and versatile one. The minutemen had the perfect hybrid of scouts and soldiers. That advantage was topped with the fact that these men were trained to fight well in rough ground. This was ideal in the Babylonian territory. Russia was discovered when a scout passed by Washington. They were a friendly people.
Meanwhile, things were changing in the political climate. Oda Nanbunga, a previous friend, now hated America and Mike III. America denounced both Japan and Babylon, after peace was made. Babylon gave Mike III all his money and luxury resources. Ironic, since he demanded the same from Mike III.
The Minutemen were trained and formed in Washington, while a General formed a citadel to create a base camp for the American attack. Trebuchets were also built. Then, when the force was built, the peace treaty ended. Mike III made a rapid advance to attack Babylon. Russia did attack Babylon as well. America and Russia became friends, for they hated Japan and Babylon. They even did a research agreement.
The force attacking Babylon was making some headway, but were soon stopped by the city's bombardments and enemy forces nearby. The force retreated, having suffered heavy losses in their units. The fell back to the Philadelphia line to recouperate and get another go. The trebuchets were abandoned and were soon destroyed in the retreat. Many more Minutemen were being trained. 2 armies were formed and ready to fight.
The second wave of Minutemen was supposed to arrive, but a large force of enemy forces were spotted by them. They were also attacked by large masses of enemy forces. The attack was not even defeated yet, and the minutemen at the line were still fighting. Some units were starting to take heavy casualties. The attack was poised to attack Washington.
The attack was stopped and the soldiers recouperated. Then then made an all out attack on Babylon. One company found 2 Babylonian Generals. Both were killed quickly before they could set up fortifications or lead a counter attack. Incredibly, the obsolete units stopped the Minutemen from taking Babylon. The attack failed. Rifles were invented, and riflemen started being trained. But they no longer had the same fighting capacity as the Minutemen in terms if going through rough turf fast enough. The war went nowhere. Peace had to be made.

The Industrial Era: Relations with Japan were bipolar. For 1 year he was friendly, and then a denouncemet war started all over again. The riflemen that were available, for all their immobility in rough ground, made up in strength greatly. Mike III and his generals learned lessons from the second American-Babylonian war. Field artillery had to support the troops. Cities could never be taken by soldiers alone.
Riflemen massed along the Babylonian borders and massed cannons and got a General. Then, Russia declared war on Babylon and sent a massive force. They surrounded Babylon. This was the window to attack. The day the treaty ended, Mike III ordered a full scale offensive against Babylon. A few Riflemen companies were lost, but they made it. They besieged the overwhelmed city. Then, the cannons opened fire on the city with deadly effect. Day by day, the poundings broke the city.
Then, the city reached it's breaking point, and so did the Babylonian military. Riflemen stormed and captured Babylon. The morale instantly skyrocketed as a result. Now, with the help of the Russian American efforts, the rest of Babylon was up for grabs. However, it had a bad effect on the foreign community's opinion of Mike III. India, a recently met country, denounced Mike III. Japan did as well. Maria Theresa offered an embassy exchange, which was flatly refused.
Mike III, Catherine, and soon a newly met Elizabeth would be friends. Russia and America did another research agreement.
Babylon was bound to fall very soon, and when it did, Japan would be next. Atlanta was founded near Ragusa. A harbor was built to save road costs. America despite it's enemies grew stronger and stronger. Soon, when the time was right, the Americans would make their enemies pay for sleeping on Mike III's ability to lead.

Nice update. You have the power of Mother Russia to help you!

The Industrial Era: Chapter 2

The Americans moved up. After a short siege, they took Akkad. Dur- Kurigalzu was now in sight.
The American economy was losing money. They had to spread their faith to make profits. Or, they would build more markets and banks to make money. They sold Atlanta's harbor, since it was making no trade profits at all.
The attack on Dur-Kurigalzu was sucessful. The hunt was now on for the last worker they had. Spain was met. Mikeism was spread to more places. Dynamite was discovered, and the first artillery pieces were created.
It soon became clear that anybody who met Mike III was an enemy. Isabella and Maria Theresa denounced Mike III. Babylon was eliminated. Nebuchadnezzar was on a boat with workers.
Then, ( something wierd, Maria Theresa is afraid. She fears our great might.) She offers to be friends with Mike III. It is flatly refused. Mike III and Catherine make a new research agreement. Suleiman was met, but soon denounced Mike III. It seems the tyrant Nevuchadnezzar was a friend in the world community. But how? Hedeclared war on Japan and America. He was an evil man who desired world domination. He even told Mike III he wanted that. China was met. She did not have the anti American sentiment that other civs had. American science was going to new heights. Public schools were built, and Oxford University was built. Then, electricity was discovered. Masses of aluminum were found everywhere. Stock exchanges were to be built in every city.
Archaeology was discovered, and museums were to be built. However, people were trying to reduce the influence of Mikeism. Prophets needed to be brought up to change that. Japan was caught spying in Washington. Agent Eliza caught and killed a spy.
The Modern Era: Chapter 1
Henri Nestle made a big trade agreement with Ragusa, increasing relations and making money. Russia's religion Judaism was also a problem. Spreading Mikeism to Russian cities would strain relations.
The Aztecs and America became friends. Then, the jerk Maria Theresa declares war on Mike III. The alliance between Russia and America causes them to share a military alliance.
Forces near Dur-Kurigalzu formed into a quick reaction force. The Great War Infantry outmatched the Austrian's Riflemen and Cannon. However, America was over all out teched by the enemy. Austria had Bombers. Until America got those, they would be on the defense. And, India made a surprising offer to be friends with America. It was refused.
The wars' fate was uncertain. But there was one thing each side knew. Only one could win.

In my last story, I booted them off my continent, but they still had a vast aand unmatched empire and slipped out a cultural victory. Now, I am locked in a grim stalemate in a fight for supremacy.

I set the game for domination only. I am not a warmonger, but i the opportunity comes, I will run over my neighbor. I currently have 2 friends, but India and Austria once hated me and tried to be friends. H--- No. Now I an at war with the strongest and most overpowered person in the game.

domination only games for me are the best. The ai wont BS their way to a culture or science victory like Austria did in my last game

so far its looking good
