Deity Challenge 4 - The Huns. Arborea.

Welcome to part 4 of the Deity Challenge!

I picked arborea, since i personally like this type of map (because i like chopping the woods). It is a random arborea, meaning: it can be small continents, large continents or Pangaea.

Enjoy, and leave feedback, so others can learn from your triumphs and mistakes. :)

All settings are standard, quick combat/movement is enabled. You can disable it through options menu, if you like. You must have all DLC to play this game.

Wow. Never played that type of map before. I'd imagine an early rush (seeing as you are Huns) will be tough due to the reduced movement.

Also, I'm guessing Celts / Iroquois would be rather OP on this type of map.
 
Well, teino, i figured, if people play Deity they must have all DLC's installed. :) Guess this one will have to go as it is.
 
Would you still be able to play it if it doesn't have the DLC civs in the game? For example, if Korea wasn't in the game and you had GOTY and G&K, would you be able to play it?
 
I will try it tonight. I assume settle in place. Please advise initial build & tech order order.

Probably, yeah, but you should send the warrior SE to see if you could settle on the marble too. Hmm, calendar, masonary and trapping with tundra underfoot? Lucky there're a couple of granary bonuses and you got a hill river....
 
Just started with the map. Looks like the least hardest map yet of them all. Everything looks almost too good. No neighbours, perfect city locations etc. I might be suprised though. :)
 
LOL, this is just cruel.

Huns (who excel with fast rushes on non-rough terrain), and we are stuck in the middle a vast Siberian forest...
Huns, who get Animal Husbandry and get extra production from pastures, and there are none nearby.

If this was Iroquois, would be nice.

I have not one single time ever been able to build the great library in diety ;)
