As the title suggests does getting hit with a nuke lower stability? I never really got that far to test it too extensively.

Indirectly, in a couple ways.

The reduced population and the Fallout on surrounding tiles will impact your Economy from having
a lower total output than 3 turns ago during the Economy checks.

And the number of troops that you've lost will severely impact your Expansion stability
(I believe, as the game counts the loss of one of your troops as the equivalent of the loss of several enemy troops, in terms of severity).

So will a massive nuclear war, without any actual city invasion by either side, cause a civilization to collapse? I mean like nearly every city getting hit by 1 or more nuclear weapons.

Just curious if we could get something like fallout/metro 2033/leibowitz going on.
