New SDK Beta (World Builder, etc.)

NEW BETA PASSWORD IS REQUIRED - SEE BELOW

We have a build up behind a new beta if you would like to see if it addresses your problem.

1. Right-click on the "Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK" link in Steam, and select "Properties".
2. Select the "Betas" tab
3. Enter the password "worldbuilder", and click "Verify".
4. If the password is accepted, then select "worldbuilder" from the pull-down list, and click "close".
5. Restart your steam client.

The new build should download. Start it up, and start World Builder. To verify that you have the correct version of World Builder, you should see yesterdays date (7/23) in the title bar when it launches.

Worldbuilder is now no longer working at all... note I've not gotten the BNW download yet... July 12 in my area... perhaps this is why.

WB is working for me, haven't had a chance to do anything in it yet, but I did check to make sure it loaded up. At launch it says "Allow Sid Meier's Civilization V to launch with optional command line "\dx9 -Nexus 4320" ? If you did not request this launch then click cancel"

I clicked OK and selected my mod as usual, and it loaded up, but I will have to test everything tomorrow..

Now I can't get the world builder to open! It now just immediately comes to a windows error with "world Builder has stopped responding" and then it quits.
Before the beta it would open at least... Now it's just a waste of space. Hopefully I will get fixed soon.
This is horrible.

My WB gives this odd message on steam (not sure why the WB wants to launch Nexus). It does actually launch though.

Okay, before this update but after last week's patch, my maps wouldn't spawn barbarian encampments. I have updated the map with the new SDK beta, and barbarians are spawning again! Everything seems to be working in that respect. I'll check more into the other stuff this weekend probably

This is incredibly good news. I'm a pretty peaceful player, but love to seek-out and kill barbarians. Looks like I'll be able to play my first major BNW marathon custom-map game this weekend.. thanks, SDK Team!

Yes i see this too, along with the nexus thing. Will this have any consequences for when you make a map/scenario? Will the game run it?

Many people have this issue... they'll fix it some time. Hopefully soon.

On holidays for a few weeks, so not in a big rush.

Thanks for the beta. Been using for two days now with no issues to report. I've been able to load and run WB, even change mods within WB, without problem (first time in many months). Also, it's nice to be able to implement blocks on Expansion2.
